**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

I've been a power user since April 2022, when I purchased two lifetime licenses on AppSumo. Technically, Heartbeat is phenomenal. Its ability to unify threads, voice rooms, events, and courses into a single, sleek interface is second to none. It’s stable, fast, and the feature set for community engagement is truly top-tier. It's a "brutal" platform in terms of performance and UI design.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

It is 2026, and Heartbeat still doesn't support multi-language localization. I have been waiting for four years to use this platform in Spanish. It is deeply frustrating and disappointing that a project of this caliber continues to ignore the global market. While you can customize channel names, the core UI (buttons, system notifications, profile settings) remains strictly in English. This creates constant friction for my Spanish-speaking members and makes me feel "trapped" in an otherwise great product that refuses to adapt to non-English speakers.

**What problems is Heartbeat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the fragmentation of using Slack, Zoom, and Teachable separately. It consolidates everything. However, the lack of Spanish localization limits my community's growth, as many of my users find the English UI intimidating or confusing.

I like the minimalist feel with really powderful functionality in the background.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

Some settings on the course layout can be confusing for non-tech community members (my audience). Support can be a bit slow at times.

**What problems is Heartbeat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My teaching is built around live experiences and they are super easy to set up and run on Heartbeat, both for the host and the member experience.
Content/resouyrces can be added in thoughtful ways, and the platform encourages community interaction in every way.

**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

That it's a dedicated community with no annoying interruptions like the usual suspects have to deal with. There are no ads, no random accounts appearing on your timeline - just a direct channel to your users. Being able to embed coures and have these available free or behind a paywall is brilliant and there's a very powerful mechanism for who gets access and who doesn't - which I haven't quite figured out yet. The staff put on weekly webinars and there's so much encouragement and training, they're there with you every step of the way.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

I was wanting to embed a pickaxe into my community but couldn't figure out how to do that... without a complicated integration I couldn't trial without signing up for an expensive plan which didn't even give a definitive "yes, it works" overview. I think as AI agents become more mainstream, Heartbeat will have to allow these embeds. I am a bit confused right now as every now and then I'm getting people joining my community and I have no idea where they're coming from!

**What problems is Heartbeat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a nutshell, I loathe Facebook communities. Facebook is a complete mess as it is right now and whenever someone says "come join my community" on FB my immediate thought is "cheapskate" 😳. So I love the fact that Heartbeat says "professional" - and the magic link sign on is priceless - no more "I've lost my password" problems.

**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

I use Heartbeat to check announcements and important daily updates from my employer. I like its nice interface and that it's quite easy to use, almost like a social network. It shows information directly in a dashboard with tabs, making navigation straightforward. The initial setup was a piece of cake.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

I think it does not update automatically, you need to login and logout for that.

I use Heartbeat for direct communication with my employer's staff and checking important updates. It has a nice interface, is easy to use, and provides information directly on a dashboard with tabs for easy navigation.

Heartbeat is a great tool to manage community, easy to use, great support and a lot of new features every month, there is a lot of videos and documentation that explain how to use it in the right way, also many event where the producer suggest how to use it in the reight way

Implementation is not simple, need to study and may be to buy something alredy made or similar, i suggest it because we succesful did it. Was useful to buy from a third part an almost ready configuration

**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

What I appreciate most about Heartbeat is how responsive the team is to user feedback. They actively listen and implement improvements, which shows their commitment to enhancing the user experience. Their support is excellent, and they promptly address questions and concerns. The ease of implementation and use is remarkable; I found myself navigating the platform effortlessly right from the start, and when I was in doubt I consulted their large knowledge base on how to use each segment of the community. I found it very helpful. The community organization features allow for manual control over access for individuals or entire groups, making management straightforward and efficient. With all these capabilities, I've found everything I need in Heartbeat, enabling me to concentrate on growing my business without the hassle. I use it every day, and it seamlessly integrates with various tools, offering many choices that suit my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

My main drawback is that I can create a paid plan in the community only using Stripe, which isn't supported in my country. This creates a barrier to fully utilizing the service and having the paid community. However, despite this limitation, the overall quality and functionality of Heartbeat make it clear that it’s a worthwhile investment, and I’m determined to find I will find a way to overcome this "disadvantage".
Overall Heartbeat is the ultimate choice for those looking to elevate their online communities.

**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

Heartbeat offers a lot of great features for creating a community platform. I love having the Heartbeat app, with courses included. Heartbeat listens to their users, provides consistent updates, and continually makes improvements to serve their users.

The townhalls, educational videos, community for Heartbeat community managers, and overall energy from the team is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

Heartbeat is available as an integration option with more and more companies. I can use it in Pabbly, Zapier, and many other solutions. 

I would love to see Heartbeat continue direct connections without using Zapier or Pabbly. There are so many options out there, so this is not a negative with Heartbeat.

An app for private communities. Courses in the app. Locked documents, videos, channels, etc. Video and voice rooms for users to use. 

Heartbeat provides so much more than just an online community space.

The platform it's very intuitive, reducing friction for users to participate writing threads, asking questions, adding images, etc. versus the great majority of community platforms that feels like an old forum-style space.

The overall design (fonts, layout, UI) feels a bit rough in compare to other community platforms with a more cleaner-trendy look.

Also, the mobile (and Mac) app are slow.

With Heartbeat I'm able to gather my audience in a private space and engage with them in ways I couldn't with other marketing tools (online course, email marketing and social media platforms).

I truly believe communities will become the best way to monetize an audience and Heartbeat is very good at helping you with exactly that.

**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

One of the number 1 things I look for in a product is how great the customer experience is and I have never had a better customer experience than with Heartbeat! We had a pretty complex case and our rep, Nick, was patient, communicative, and supported us through every challenge we had. Heartbeat has so many helpful articles; tutorials; and the thing I love most about it for our community is that everything is on ONE place!

There is a learning curve, which is to be expected but they really do everything to make it as smooth as possible for you.

**What problems is Heartbeat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have a slack channel; a hub for call recordings; and had to send communciations and calendar invites through other external platforms. Now we have everything we need in ONE place with Heartbeat.

**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

Heartbeat is a community platform that continues to innovate in exciting ways! The platform is full-featured - with community, courses, events, audio & video capabilities, documentation, etc. It has almost everything you can think of to run a successful and robust community. 

The Heartbeat workflows is one of my favorite features! 🎉  This feature allows you to automate things within the Heartbeat platform without having to use external automation tools like Zapier.  

Heartbeat is also extremely versatile so you can setup the kind of community you want by turning on/off features that you may not need in your particular setup. 

Heartbeat itself is quite intuitive. 

The Heartbeat team, in addition to being very accessible, actively listen and respond to feedback. 

Their customer support is great! They have monthly Townhalls where the latest features are unveiled and we can offer our feedback and make suggestions LIVE right there during the Townhall. They even give 1-on-1 live support to customers who need it!

Heartbeat is a community platform with much heart!

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

Honestly, there's nothing I dislike. The developments can't come fast enough 🙃
For example, I would like some more features added to the event's calendar such as the ability to embed the event Calender in external pages. It's currently on the roadmap and I'm confident the team will get to it.

Heartbeat provides an online meeting spot for my members. I love scheduling events in the calendar as the Hwartbeat calendar is very robust.

It is hard to pick one thing, to be honest! There are many amazing features on this platform. What I appreciate the most is the tools for communication and automation. This makes it simple to manage a large community of people while still building meaningful relationships with members. I have saved so much time on repetitive tasks and I now have more energy to do the things that I love to do in my company.

The one hurdle with using Heartbeat is that it is quite new so people are unfamiliar with the space. This requires a bit more work than a Facebook group to get people to make profiles and engage within the community.

**What problems is Heartbeat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to build my own app for my company however, that was a huge project that I was not ready for quite yet. Finding Heartbeat allowed me to have everything that I was looking for in a custom-built app for an affordable monthly subscription. This has benefited my company because we are able to have a custom-built online community space without having to build everything from scratch. Furthermore, I am connected with a wonderful network of online community builders by being a member of Heartbeat. I can attend group calls and easily upskill. It is a huge benefit to not have to do all of these community-building parts of my business alone. Community builders also benefit from being in a supportive community!

I love the responsiveness of the team. I like that I can go at my own pace to build my community. I like the look of my community. I find the platform to be more intuitive than others I had investigated.

There is a LOT to learn about building my community. Some of the help topics are hard to find, outdated by new features on the platform or not informative. They do offer a monthly live event for questions so if a help topic isn't helpful, I can always ask.

It is providing an online space where invited members can develop relationships. It is providing me an online home for my teaching and writing. It offers me the ability to connect with free members and to a more committed audience as well.

Having the community, courses, docs, search, DMs, and everything - ALL IN ONE SPOT is a game-changer. I recently switched from my own custom-built course platform, and my students are LOVING this (and so am I, because now I can focus on the community/education, without having to maintain my own software). Heartbeat is AMAZING!

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

Mobile app is a bit clunky and not white-labeled, desktop app seems to slow things down (as opposed to just using the web app) but I'm ok with that. Not a huge deal. Login flow has been a bit of a headache (several users email me with issues logging in and/or receiving their magic email) I'd love to be able to tweak a few things on the UX, but again, not big issues. Heartbeat support has been very helpful in resolving the login issues, and much of the time, it's user error.

Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend.

All-in-one online academy! My students are absolutely loving it! The value of using heartbeat as opposed to a course platform + facebook community have been AWESOME.

One of the more immediate values realized with Heartbeat is how quickly you can customize the platform to integrate digital information products and a community and be validating and selling sooner than you thought possible!

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

From day one, I've been very impressed with Hearbeat's responsiveness to feedback and active learning from their wide variety of customers' needs and experience levels. The user interface has been a particular development roadmap I've been paying attention to as I've been actively and successfully using the platform. You can clearly see the improvements have been well-informed by a larger solution-focused vision and the feedback from admins, end users, and business owners.  They make "work-in-progress" look and feel good!

**What problems is Heartbeat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Heartbeat is in a sweet spot that no other platform offers: an affordable, simple plan with all the top-level capabilities the most basic of businesses could use and more experienced digital marketers would expect.  And, Heartbeat's leadership is visible and actively investing in making the platform and experience better every day -- so much so, that as a customer, you actually feel excited to be part of their future because you can trust they are going to make your future all the more successful using their platform!

I love how on brand my community is and it feels like a fun platform and that is part of my brand. I love that when I toggle bt other communities that mine feels like me!

There are some tech features that I wish Heartbeat had, but they are really good at adding and updating constantly! I am excited to watch it grow from ground up!

Heartbeat always keeps the goal of community in mind when looking at current and future features. They run their own community which provides a place to connect with others using the tool, share ideas, and encouragement.

I really want SSO (Single Sign On) so I can transition seamlessly betwen Heartbeat App and my website.

**What problems is Heartbeat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a community that would be easy to maneuver for non-techies, something as accessible as FB but completely private and under our control.  Our community loves the intimacy and privacy we offer.  It feels like an actual community of people who genuinely care about each other.  It also allows white labeling so to our members it seems like an extension of our business, not a separate entity as many competitors see to do.

I love that you can have your community and course all on the one platform.  There are so many great features and the founders are very responsive to suggestions and improvements.

Nothing really - they are working hard to improve every aspect of the platform and it is really amazing that there is a mobile app that you can keep connected to the community on the go.

Combining the course aspect with the community chat and resources. So often the course platform is a stand alone platform and there is no ability for the students to ask questions or engage with other students.

**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

Heartbeat is a very affordable tool in comparison to most other community management tools out there. It's easy to use for me as an administrator and my community loves it too. 
For me the events section is certainly the most important part of my business and Heartbeat offers everything I need to manage the events effectively (RSVP, reminders, feedback etc.)
If you are looking for an affordable and user-friendly tool to manage your online community, I highly recommend Heartbeat.

For me, Heartbeat has everything I need to manage my events (with is the heart of my business) and engage with my community.

Heartbeat has been so responsive to my questions and problems.  My community is thrilled to be off of Facebook and on our own platform. It is easy to use, and I cannot express how wonderful it is to have a platform in my price range with so many features!

I have been a Heartbeat user for over a year and we recommend it to so many other communities. I love the versatility, branding, and ease compared to Circle or Slack.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

We have been happy users for a while. We tried another platform and our community loved Heartbeat so much that we went back to it. No complaints here! We're proud paying members.

**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

I like how the HB team is fast and efficient to help you out. Additionally, I love the features like the watercooler chat and the overall best control on the community.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

I don't especifically dislike anything about Heartbeat because if I see something that needs to change, I ask the team and they add it to the wish list. Right now they have already worked on some features I needed in my community, so I'm quite satisfied.

It's helping me have a personalized space for the members of my community. My team and I wanted a controlled space with rich features and spaces for personalized content. Heartbeat is helping us have a wonderful community platform where our members enjoy interacting with eachother and learning from the vast content that is shared in the app.

Extremely user-friendly, intuitive, robust, and simple to use.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

After uoloading all of our videos, they were unable to be viewed on android. This has since been fixed. Also, support was very also very slow to respond though this has since also been rectified. Over extremely pleased!

**What problems is Heartbeat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Heartbeat has community and authentic connection built into it. It can be scary to connect with others but the layout of the playform creates a sense of comfort.

It has great systems in place for onboarding you to the platform and also for you to help onboard your members when they join.

There are still a few issues with the mobile app, but at least they have one.

Community and courses. It is great that it is also a platform that works really well in India. Other platforms the payment processors do not work here.

**What do you like best about Heartbeat?**

The developers listen to feedback, are engaged and supportive and are continually improving the platform.  There is also a very support community of other Heartbeat community leaders who help each other.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

There are a few glitches still but these are being continually improved.  I am looking forward to having more functionality within 'courses' and the onboarding process being improved.

Heartbeat has given me a community space that brings together the people I am working with along with events.  I looked at several other products (including facebook) and this has been great and had very good feedback from the users.

Plug an play.

Just sign in and it guides you all the way through the set-up process.

There are loads of features built in that you can switch on and off.

**What do you dislike about Heartbeat?**

The course's function is just not quite there yet as you can't upload videos >10mb and so you need to link to a YT video.

And live-streaming into the group is also missing.
