- The Cin7 Core Onboarding was very helpful. Our onsultant Shuaib Khan is very knowledgable about the Cin 7 Core, he is very kind, patient and always gives advice, along with assisting any queries we have.
- The detailed sync report with errors and reference to invoices/ purhases/ stock items.
- Many attachments can be included on an invoice order -> which also sync to Xero.
- Payments from Xero can link to actual invoices which our previous sytem could not* Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- It is really disapointing that Cin7 Core allows invoicing to customers on 0 available stock items/ items we've back ordered but not yet receieved in system * They only figure this out in the "pick" part of invoicing = which means the COGS journals are not correct *
* The sales and procurement guys are not knowledgable about this and leave a huge mess/ back and forth for the accountant to figure out and correct *
- The stock and SKU's sync to Xero - need to be untracked in Xero and when an items is renamed to archive - and Cin 7 syncs- it changes the rename back but the items stays archived - but the invoices/ purchases cannot sync to Xero due to the stock errors *
We still working through with our consultant but has already helped us with so many queries - I am sure soon all will be resolved :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can reduce my need for spreadsheets by 90%, and have the vast majority of our production, supplier, financial, and product data in one place. Before Cin7 our company had a mess of shared drive folders, disorganized individual user Google Drive folders, spreadsheets, and so much math done on the fly. I'm so glad that Cin7 can do most of what we need and we can move away from such a messy system! We're a very small company so it was working for a while, but frankly if we want to reach the next step in our development, we needed to onboard to a robust system. So far I believe getting Cin7 is doing just that! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Little design/interface things that are missing that I personally believe are basic and intuitive to most software out there. For example, I'm pretty surprised that there is no way to filter searches. What's the point of allowing us to create tags on products/services but then have no way to apply filters? I have various configurations of products I want to see at a glance and while I see that I can search for tags, I can only combine different tags in a search if they are listed in the EXACT order that the tags appear on a single product. I'm also feeling a bit disgruntled that the column options for search are so limited; I should be able to add a column for literally every single product attribute if I want. For example, how on earth do I not get to put a SKU in its own column on the "Availability" search for products??
I also think automation rules should be part of the base subscription, I don't agree with charging us more for a pretty basic function that is included in other software we've used.
Last thing I don't like is that there should be a different configuration than AUoMs to "kit" products. I want to have a single unit and its case effectively be the same product/SKU, instead of two separate SKUs that track the same inventory. In other words, when my director of ops is running a production assembly, I want him to be able to create 10 cases of almond butter with 12 jars each and when we transfer the stock to our fulfillment team, he should be able to send 10 cases and that team receive 120 jars. Instead, the system forces him to only produce single units. This makes zero sense to me. AUoMs make sense for purchasing bulk and then using single units that affects its inventory, but for finished goods AUoMs make less sense. There should be a kitting function that allows those two SKUs to be interchangable. I have seen this basic function available on other systems that are far simpler and inferior to Cin7. CIN7 Core offers a centralized system for managing inventory, orders, and reporting seamlessly. Its ability to integrate with platforms like Shopify and QuickBooks simplifies our workflow, saving both time and effort. Hopefully we start using the barcode scanning from the app for pick and pack, which will reduce our manual work in the backend. The automated order syncing and real-time inventory tracking are invaluable for avoiding stock discrepancies and delays. The system’s reporting tools provide actionable insights that help with better decision-making, while integrations ensure smooth data flow across platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The initial setup process can be complex and time-consuming, requiring significant support. Additionally, occasional glitches in syncing orders or inventory between systems can disrupt operations and require manual fixes. Being wholesale and customers with payments terms, in some cases we might have to edit the order / invoice after it's fulfilled but we are unable to edit once it's fulfilled, otherwise all good so far. Cin7 is a great program for our inventory and orders. Setting it up was surprisingly easy, thanks to the onboarding and customer support. It works well with Shopify and QuickBooks, making it simple to keep everything connected. The features, like real-time inventory tracking and automation, save a lot of time and help avoid mistakes. The support team was always ready to help and made the whole process smooth. Overall, Cin7 is an excellent choice for businesses looking to organize and grow. One thing I dislike about Cin7 Core is the limited filtering options on the dashboard. It would be much more helpful if there were more filters available, such as sorting by category, status, collection, brand, and other criteria. This would make it easier to find and manage specific data quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cin7 accelerated program was nice for me to have a zoom call where an instructor navigated us through the each components in the tool. She was very knowlegeable and well organized giving me more confidence after the last session to be able to go onto the tool itself to start building out the project for our business. All meetings were recorded which helped me look back to rewatch to get more guidence and clarity. Also the Cin7 Academy website video tutorials were helpful too visualizing how to use the tool by having a sample company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much right now as I'm setting things up but I do feel a bit reluctant on putting in the autheticator code each time I login. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cin7 Core transformed our company from a poorly coordinated group of individuals using hunches and print outs to guesstimate our inventory needs, to a cohesive and coordinated team all speaking the same language! BUT a package this big which covers financials as well and inventory, CRM and more has a lot of dials and meters to play with and while one person can be an good in one area, no one here is an expert in all. Recently as we started to roll out multicurrency options to EU customers from the UK, our inexperience required the help of Cin7 support. Muditha to the rescue! While I didn't get the answer I needed on their first detailed response, a quick screen recording helped explain what I couldn't and I got back the answer I needed, all with a short time frame so we could keep up our momentum.
Previous help on custominsing invoice templates has also been quick. We've been using this now for 6 years! :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limitations on users within our package means Team leaders can't grant basic 'view only' access to orders on the system. Additional users and extensions can add up to quite a lot, but it's what you do with them that matters. Internationally, I've found it's also not as well recognised as other systems for native 3PL warehouse integration, but a good coder or use of of an intermediary platform to link different systems should solve it. I'm sure this will only change for the better over time. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been implementing Cin7 Core for several years and find it configurable and agile enough to meet most the businesses we work with. Furthermore, it has considerable connectivity to other apps enhancing its ability to meet business' particular workflows.
This particular instance is the Support we have received from Cin7 and the responsivesness and expertise of the agent at Cin7, Abi.
Abi's knowledge and expertise and constant attention and feedback were essential in resolving this issue. We had several online calls and carried out 'live' tests to understand the issue and find a solution - we did find a solution and not just a 'work around'
Well done to Abi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cin7 is a complex and feature-rich software which can be quite overwhelming for some clients. Establishing the configurations and settings in Core that meet a business' workflows requirements can be time consuming and labourious and requires testing and retesting.
I would recommmend enhancing the search and filter capabilities (the custom filters) for all the summary screens:
- Purchases
- Inventory
- Production (Assemblies and Production orders)
- Stock Adjustments
- Stock Transfers
Improve the CSV downloads so that only the data that is selected in the filters is exported to a CSV file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cin7 has been a great improvement for our team. We had an amazing onboarding experience with our lead Zoey who delivered exceptional customer service. The Accelerate Onboarding Package was perfect for us, and we would certainly recommend anyone signing up go through it as it helped us implement Cin7 into our ecosystem quickly. We are in the process of going Live and we were able to do it right after our session ended.
I like how easy to use and intuitive Cin7 is. There are great cues explaining things throughout the system, and many FAQs are also available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes loading takes a a while which can be annoying if you are manually doing things that can not be bulk done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ability to see inventory, generate invoices, and facilite easier transfers from warehouses to stores, and from manufacturing kitchen to warehouse.
We worked with Dinush, who was incredibly helpful, responsive, easy to work with, and also so patient with our team. Internally, we help up implementation due to items not being ready. Dinush was very patient as we completed our steps, assisted us with uploading on our behalf, and kept us on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't realize that there was different modules that were not included. The manufacturing module for our production kitchen is an interesting add-on that we didn't realize was separate. Same idea for the B2B portal, it is separate and we could't review the capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cin7 Core is a great (and detail oriented) ERP backend solution for a brand looking to streamline their operations. Prior to Cin7, our brand utilized a B2B store solution (JOOR, akin to Elastic Suite) which provided us with the base necessities for B2B operations, but left us with no ERP solution. Cin7 is the only solution that can provide both the B2B and internal backend operations that we have always needed. It is also super cost effective. The support staff (especially Irfan) has been super helpful and responsive as we look for more intricate solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As with many ERPs, Cin7 suffers in the setup process is subpar. While there is a more cost-effective group oriented onboarding solution, it does not get you anywhere near the functionally operating backend that you'll need. It costs more, but the 1 on 1 setup will certainly be worth the investment and will save you months of setup time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UX is easy to understand. Search function and the ability to calculate cost within the cells is A plus. Provides accurate cost of ingredients and productions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Don't like how every action is tied to a chart of account. It is not easy to correct a mistake without either having to make an inventory adjustment. Would prefer an undo option that won't erase the quantity that was previously entered especially for Completed Assembilies. Additionally, when adding or deleting a new lot or SKU in the "Pick" tab of the assembly, the page shifts upward, causing users to lose track of the lot and increasing the risk of entering incorrect quantities.
