Ci Media Cloud Pros and Cons

I like that it is a place where we can easily search commercials that have been uploaded into our master control system. It allows all users access to view the spots and download. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish that we had an archive for old spots. Our clients don't like having to resend commercials once they have already sent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The upload speeds, the user interface is quite good, searching for files is good and able to hold lots of space, and you get make different users have different permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's a few things that could be better, the CI app on mac, sometimes fails to upload, for some reason, have to revert back to upload directly to the web client, and loosing the speeds of the uploading via the app. Unable to search for files as a mass search, for example trying to delete hidden files that start with "." or trying to search for any log file as "*.log" if these features can be added, and the computer app can be fixed, this would be great. The ability to export a PDF document with thumbnails and timecode. Making it easily shareable and accessible for discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to have more direct integration with other apps like Davinci Resolve and larger space allocation for the free version so it can be more atractive to others.

I like the capability to share workspaces, send media boxes, and upload content easily. I use Sony Ci almost every day at work. I find it easy to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At my workplace, because we can't grant access to the configuration to the whole organization.. I dislike the share to external target feature. I have to input my credentials to share to an external target. It would be great if Ci could remember my last input or something so I don't have to enter the credentials every time. What I like most are the MediaBoxes and being able to control and customize them to my needs for internal or external use. I really enjoy the UI and design of it as well and I enjoy using the tools such as Video Collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike about is that you have to upgrade to Enterprise in order to add team members to your workspace instead of the Team/Pro pricing to include a way to add other users to your space Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
