Not much to note. On occasion, there have been issues with permissions but I think that's user error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like that Ci automatically generates proxies of all the footage you upload. But my favorite features are the media boxes and file request links. File requests are really useful because when you're working with multiple people who need to submit footage (like content creators), it becomes really simple to collect everything in one place instead of receiving uploads from multiple places like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. I love not having to dig around in my email to see where each person submitted footage. And the media boxes are great because it is easy to share cuts with clients for review and adjust permissions like with commenting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think that the commenting and notification features could still use improvement especially when compared with frameio. You can't tag specific users, and I would like more control over which clips or conversations I get notifications about. I shouldn't have to comment on a video first in order to subscribe to future comments. It would be helpful to have a way to decide whether I want notifications for all comments or not. Sony Ci has greatly simplified our collaboration workflow. We used to use many separate applications for file sharing and it all had to be tracked and managed by myself and the post team. Now with mediaboxes we can keep track of the links we send and have better control over access with the extensive security options. Now that our colleagues are also able to access footage via the workspaces, our workloads have improved because they can review and share files between themselves independently. Aspera integration can sometimes cause issues but I'm optimistic about the launch of Ci Transfer. Other than that the only issues we encounter seem to be one of technical glitches but the support team have been quick to respond every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how fast the uploads are when you use aspera. The Commenting and media box features so i can easily send links to clients and also have them comment on certain aspects are brilliant. All in all never using another service again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes aspera can cut out and i have install and re-install. In certain cases i have struggled to find certain folders that are named similarly. i would like there to be a better way of searching for the files other than just by name perhaps? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
