What do you like best about Choreo?

Choreo is a powerful innovation by WSO2 to support API management, integration, and analytics capabilities. The following are the most appealing capabilities I liked so far-

#1 Quick and easy signup for a developer to start with Choreo. Also, readymade templates help developers get comfortable with the platform and its capabilities

#2 WSO2 APIM & EI profile technical capabilities are available under a single window

#3 Quick and easy deployments to dev & prod environments

#4 Top-notch security for APIs

#5 Smooth UI with quick and easy navigation for projects, components, insights, observability & DevOps

#6 Easy to connect the code with web services, Web Apps, API proxies, Webhook, scheduled tasks, and manual tasks & testing tools like Postman

#7 Community support is available on Discord is active and usually, the responses are available in a couple of hours or less.

#8 Being a SAAS-based platform, it is easy to implement and to start with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Choreo?

There are certain areas where Choreo is still improving or I felt a bit challenged-

#1 Writing integration services need Ballerina language expertise

#2 Sometimes performance issues in the portal

#3 Choreo is deployed in certain Geo regions only and that makes it difficult to adopt due to GDPR compliance for some use cases.

#4 Some features are still under development Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Choreo?

One of Choreo's standout features is its dual-plane architecture, comprising a Control Plane and a Data Plane. The Control Plane serves as the centralized management hub, overseeing and coordinating customer workloads, delivering a unified point of control and visibility. This grants administrators the ability to efficiently manage, monitor, and orchestrate their organization's resources.

What's particularly appealing is the flexibility offered by Choreo, as the Data Plane operates within a dedicated cloud infrastructure that can be either owned by the organization itself or by WSO2's cloud. This adaptability is a significant advantage.

Moreover, the seamless communication between the Data Plane and the Control Plane through APIs ensures that the Data Plane can continue to function independently, even in the event of the Control Plane becoming inaccessible, such as in disaster scenarios. This redundancy and resilience are undoubtedly one of Choreo's most commendable attributes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Choreo?

While my experience with Choreo has been largely positive, it's essential to provide constructive feedback. Choreo's architecture and functionality are robust, offering excellent control and flexibility. However, there's always room for improvement.

One area where Choreo could see enhancement is in expanding its range of pre-built integrations with popular tools and services. A more extensive library of integrations would streamline the process of connecting various applications and services within the platform.

Additionally, improving the platform's documentation and user resources would be beneficial. Comprehensive, easy-to-follow documentation can help users make the most of Choreo's capabilities and reduce the learning curve.

Lastly, while the platform is functionally sound, some users may appreciate a more intuitive and user-friendly interface. Enhancing the user experience can go a long way in making Choreo even more accessible to a broader range of users.

It's important to note that these points are more about potential areas for growth rather than significant dislikes. Choreo remains a powerful cloud platform, and these suggestions aim to make it even more user-friendly and feature-rich in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
