Chattermill has transformed how we analyze feedback from all our channels - online, app and in store. We use it to integrate multiple data sources like NPS, surveys, review sites and social media so we get a full view of our customers.
My favourite thing about Chattermill is the sentiment analysis. Because it looks at keywords in context it means I can be confident about what matters most to our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a Product Designer, I mostly use Chattermill during the early parts / discover stages of my project. Chattermill is a great way for me to understand user sentiments across our various communication channels and to help me pinpoint areas of further interested. I appreciate the design of the platform, the ability to create custom dashboards that I can share / link to for collaboration.
Being able to query our user sentiments based on search inputs and/or aspect of our app is super valuable as well. Besides discovery matters, I user Chattermill to build reports internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I do appreciate Chattermill as a product, I've found their AI features lacking. Eventhough the AI summaries can be useful, they sometimes (often) fall apart in rationale upon further scrutiny. I'm not sure if this is specific to Chattermill since many genAI tools halucinate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This tool helps us during our peak weeks every quarter because the reports are very easy to use, show up summaries real quick and all options can be seen at the sidebar for easy access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Chattermill makes it really easy to manage your customers and their reviews. It helps in providing a better and exceptional service to the customers. For the internal stakeholders, it has great features like sentiment analysis which helps in making better product changes and business decisions. It is seamless to implement in a new team, and integrates easiliy with other existing tools. All our customer reviews are managed through chattermill on a daily basis. I love how much data i can pull from all the different dashboards, themes and feedbacks. It's super easy to understand, so it makes it easier for me to implement my action plans accordingly. As a Product Manager of a global product available in more than 10 markets and 3 continents, it's sometimes challenging to get close to customers to hear their feedback. Chattermill makes this easy by aggregating different feedback sources. Its analysis engine allows to capture key user sentiments by aggregating user comments with good accuracy. The interface could help more the job-to-be-done of users such as Product Managers and tech teams related to the investigation of issues encountered by users of an app/website. As a user once I have identified patterns (set of comments) that I believe need to be investigated, I will need to bring key information back into the development flow so that the analysis can continue (i.e. Jira ticket, sharing with tech team etc.) At the moment this requires a series of manual copy/paste and is a tedious process. I would highlight a few things:
1. Chattermill effectively enables complex NLP categorization of text data at various levels of granularity
2. The native Chattermill dashboard interface allows non-technical users to dig deeper into customer feedback data.

I think there is an opportunity for Chattermill to work further on connecting business data to customer feedback data, as currently we use Chattermill to understand customer feedback in a vacuum Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My initial perception of AI summaries at the theme / tag level was happily changed, though the qualitative summaries provided. I felt like they would be too broad to have relevance, though am suprised. It seems well integrated into our ecosystem, and the tools to evolve that integration are clear. So far, I do struggle with the inability to use the tool in a sandbox format. I would love to be able to create private themes, dashboards, reports, that are available only to me until I decide to share with surrounding teams. Its possible that our integration is quite restricted on user ability, though wonder if this could be negated by a clear environment where all users can explore freely without breaking production level structures.
