Weave is helpful for communicating with patients. It's great that they can send photos - a lot of our patients will send a picture of their new insurance cards. I like seeing the patient's name pop up on my screen to tell me who is calling. We also use the chat function to communicate throughout the office. I also like that I can use it from home in the event of an emergency or urgent situation. I've done that when we have had to delay opening due to weather conditions. Our app stopped syncing with our practice management software. We've reached out to tech support and they have been unable to fix it, despite multiple attempts. It no longer shows our schedule. New patients who are added to the system don't show up in Weave. Until we turned off our automated reminders, it was sending incorrect confirmation texts to patients. Because of this, we have had to switch to a different way to do our confirmation texts, so we only use Weave as our phone system and for intra-office communication. It has everything we need for our practice-patient relationship. From message reminders, birthday reminders, payment reminders, follow up messages for the full fornt staff, etc. We know right away who calls, gets the exact phone number, and can record calls for training purposes. Their customer service is also top-notch. Also, you can use the phone app in case you have internet issues so you never miss a call!
