I LOVE that you can publish documents online and share with co-workers easily. I like that it keeps a record of the images you have uploaded in the past and that you can have a library of your brand fonts. I like that you can make and share folders,I like all the instructional videos your company has made to help your customers. I do like that you can download for print and include crop and bleed. I have gone towards uploading previously designed artwork that my co-workers can change to fit their promotional needs and that has worked very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not too fond of the design features - it is hard to get shapes and spaces to line up in a way that looks professional. I wouldn't call it a design software - but a tool for collaboration and publishing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lucidpress' publication builder is full of functionality, and is surprisingly robust. We produce a regular magazine that always draws praise for its quality and appeal. The creativity and content is ours, but Lucidpress gives us a workable solution for creating layouts and generating pdfs that shine. It allows us to have a program that multiple users can log into if we desire, and it's reasonably intuitive for users with at least basic design skills and knowledge. While the program is quite robust, there are definitely limits you'll bump into from time to time. For example, you cannot create multiple columns with varying widths. Also, rotated items tend not to appear rotated in the pdf version. However, there are workarounds we've discovered. Also, we're not crazy about their templates. But that's OK, we prefer to create from scratch anyway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really enjoy the ease of use. We moved to lucidpress during the pandemic and when I came back to work I found that it was much easier to use then our previous platform we used. It had great image options, templates and overall look of documents is great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found a downside, yet, I am still in the beginner stages of using the product. So far it's great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ability that we have to create templates that the whole company can use instead of reinventing the wheel every time a new project comes up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not a fan of having to remember to share all of our documents with the team so that anyone can jump in and work on something if they need it. I would like an auto-sharing option for certain teams within Lucid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how Lucidpress has provided us with a design platform where we have been able to create creative and promotional material to boost our marketing management; I love the templates it offers and how much it facilitates the creative work to our designers and its downloadability, all in an application that is relatively easy to use and has a very intuitive and friendly interface. The paid version of this tool has a bit of a hefty price tag, but for how much it simplifies, it's worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like Lucidpress because it will help us ensure brand integrity for our new brand and streamline the approval process. I also think the interface is very intuitive. I like that template creators can lock down branded assets and provide brand assets inside of one cohesive tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to either see more powerful design tools within Lucidpress or better integration with adobe products like illustrator and photoshop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The solution enables me to do everything I need - I am able to create brochures, whitepapers, and wireframes. It is far easier to use than Indesign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be useful if Lucidpress had a larger selection of icons to use or an integration with something like FontAwesome, which would allow us to use them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the premade templates in LucidPress, whether I'm making a newsletter, or flyer, there are so many options that give me great start to creating something new Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would recommend having more "shape" options and buttons that are free, and easy to edit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
