How detailed I can get with customizing my content. I love how intuitive the interface is! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Chamaileon team is constantly innovating and updating the product. This is awesome but sometimes a little inconvenient if you're trying to crank out a quick project after an update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Team collaboration and integrations are excellent functionalities. The ability to work around the prebuilt email templates to simplify your work. It is easy to use and it creates supreme quality responsive email HTML. Also, you can import your own HTML template and edit it accordingly to your needs, the ability to store email templates in a personal account for further use. You can just add your images, text and it’s ready to download or export. One can quickly design emails with the flexible drag-n-drop editor or re-brand any of the pre-built templates from the template library. Chamaileon is also a cloud-based app and is able to be integrated with tools like MailChimp and Sendy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some time to learn all the features that do not come naturally if you are not used to the tool. It does seem there are better options if you are a Gmail user. Not having an open Library of Free Images to Use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is simple and easy to use. Exporting the HTML is easy. It lets you create clean designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It leaves a lot of spaces between blocks and sections, even without any margins or anything. Your emails will look a lot longer than they actually are because of that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to learn UI, many useful options, quick and almost fun Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that there's no free option to use, even with limited access to features. I'd love to use this tool but I don't have the money for it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best in using Chamaileon is, it is so easy to use even you're just a beginner, it's functions, you can preview your work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The adjusting of the images, but once you get your way around, you're good to go in no time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that me and my team can all work together on something in real time! I love being able to see my changes being made, as well as my coworkers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were more stock images to pick from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The existing templates are the most useful. We are able to search by tag and look for a template that best meets and fits our needs for the output (e.g. a newsletter, a web page, etc.)
The drag-and-drop building feature is probably the biggest merit of the platform, and allows for ease of newsletter structuring, curation, and duplication.
Visual quality and styling customization are excellent - plenty of fonts, detailed customizations for colors, paddings/margins, and the visual quality is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a couple pain points while using Chamaileon. First, the Mobile version of templates does not translate well from the original template as seen on Desktop.
It would be effective to be able to translate the two as close as possible, or at least allow for a Mobile + Desktop adaptable editing view.
When creating links in the email or newsletter, the Protocol <other> does not function - it breaks.
Another bug that seems to appear often is broken flows when creating a new template or e-mail. Several times, when creating a "new email" we'll jump back to the Workspace and not the email or template. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
