It is very user friendly and excellent for archiving classes.
It's ease of use and customer support is really impressive.
Has made it easy to share information with students across colleagues.
Also I like how it has made it easy to keep track of daily assignments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the moment I can't think of any dislike it's the best! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use interface and has good mapping to all modules. I say this from perspective of student as well as a grader/Teaching Assistant. Canvas LMS also has android and IOS app which is really helpful. It main feature I like is "To-Do List" which has list of all upcoming assignments mapped with subject and its deadline. I wish the website had same "to-do' list with consolidated list of upcoming assignments rather than subject wise we need to go and check for its individual to-dp assignments. Its not necessity but would be good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mostly user friendly interface. RCE various options and ability to easily integrate external resources. Ability to easily add video/audio almost anywhere. Studio. Pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
New Quizzes glitches/shortcomings, like not being able to auto award partial credit/points for one question (like sorting).
Still not very friendly for elementary - modules view, annotating on PDFs not available on web version on iPad, app doesn't match web version in design. Teachers must do a lot of page design work to be appealing to elementary kids. Needs to be even simpler and cleaner UI for younger kids, especially K-2.
External app integration needs to be easier, more consistent across platforms - some can be added at account level, some have to added at course level - hard to keep straight or know which to do where.
Really really really really wish Canvas was also an SSO. Having to authenticate or sign into other platforms, even once, to use inside Canvas, makes them unusable for younger students. Our students have to leave Canvas to go to Classlink to get to other products which kind of defeats the purpose of Canvas as a one stop shop for all learning content. I find the customizability is fantastic once you get over your initial learning curve. You can hook in outside apps and design a beautiful course using different graphics and information that can reach all kinds of learners from auditory to hands-on projects or simulations. There is a learning curve. I had to watch some videos to learn about a lot of the different features since I didn't have anyone to specifically teach me, so it can be overwhelming at times. While I wouldn't consider myself a newbie anymore, I also don't think I'm an expert either (though my department might disagree!). So you definately have to put the work in to learn the basic functions which some people are not willing to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I like most about Canvas is how user friendly it is. The interface is very neat and clean, and I am sure this is a huge advantage for students to find their course content in an organized and efficient manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I dislike most about Canvas is that the mobile application version seems to be neglected when compared to the web version. Our school conducted a feedback event and we found that all of our students are using the mobile application, but it can lag and glitch, and it is not nearly as accessible as the web version. To give a bit more context, we use third-party tools to enhance accessiblility (ex. readspeaker) but these tools do not work well on phones/tablets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Personally, one of the things I like about Canvas is that it contains several integrated functions that help maintain the flow of assignments, noticeably reducing the time spent checking which assignment needs to be resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a student using Canvas in my academic environment, I can say that sometimes exams have generation problems when trying to apply them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Canvas is a remarkable platform that has revolutionized the art of learning, infusing it with an element of enjoyment and ease. Its intuitive layout has been meticulously designed to enhance the efficiency of accessing modules and assignments, making the learning experience both seamless and engaging. While functional, the product lacks the ability to be customized or personalized to meet individual preferences or needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Canvas makes it so easy to create, present, and share content with my students. I can easily assess my students using a variety of formal and informal assessments, whether I'm using native Canvas tools or seemless third-party integration. Without Canvas, I wouldn't be the incredibly effective educator I can be today! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes their new tools aren't available to teachers directly, as a school's instructional technology coach or a county-wide administrator needs to approve them. There are many new tools I wish I could access, but they have been so slow to roll them out at the county/school level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Canvas LMS excels in user-friendly interface and robust features, fostering seamless online learning experiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ccasional issues with system updates and the learning curve for advanced features in Canvas LMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that students, parents, and teachers can go to one place for all of their needs. Announcements, Assignments, Grades, Discussions, and all pertinent information that students need is all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Canvas has a learning curve for teachers and students to learn to use. It can sometimes be cumbersome and clicky to get everything in it and train teachers on the use but as the intergration improves, it becomes easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
