I love Browserstack because it is a famous web development and testing platform that offers numerous benefits like Cross-Browser Testing, from different browser, versions and devices, real device cloud whuch can be access real android and ios devices for authentic mobile testing, responsive design testing which ensure seamless website rendering across different sizes of devices and lastly the automated testing which is integrated with popular frameworks like selenium, appium and cypress Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
what i dont like with browserstack is the inconsistent performance , which it is slow loading, laggy interactions or worst is crashing and alos the inaccurate rendering which some websites may not render exactly as they do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The device farm that BS has setup and the UI to access devices in the farm is responsive and rarely seems to fail which is a far cry from other platforms with similar solutions. The way that all different permutations of devices are laid out makes testing straight forward and a joy. Configuration for each device and controls are displayed in such a way where users never have to think twice about what they want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Understanding how to use each individual feature at the top level isn't as intuitive and figuring out which role to have requires some onboarding time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, BrowserStack is like having a full-blown device lab in your pocket without the clutter. The fact that I can test on dozens of devices - old iPhones, shiny new Androids, whatever the latest Chrome or Safari version is - without having to leave my desk is a game-changer. I also love that it’s all in the cloud, so no clunky software installs. For someone juggling way too many projects, it’s a huge time saver. Plus, their live testing is super slick - just hop in, pick a device/browser combo, and boom, you’re testing like a pro. It’s also helped me look smarter in meetings, which, let’s face it, we all need sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s pricey. Like, you-really-need-a-budget pricey, especially if you’re not using it daily. And while the interface is mostly smooth, it does occasionally feel a bit sluggish. However once you're using Browserstack properly, the benefits significantly outweigh the costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its App Automate feature is very useful, as it provides many devices to execute our tests.
Reporting and Analysis of test cases is very detailed this helps when we have to show these reports to any stakeholders.
We can download the pdf of report in our local machines and share it virtually within the team in BrowserStack only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting is very detailed, although I think they can give more options for the customisation of the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an Automation Engineer, I like its Low code automation feature. Although I love coding and writing scripts, this feature is more than that.
This is similar to something we have used in our browser. But this is more than that, here we can automate any desktop app. Browserstack can generate the codes for the traces or action we perform in the App.
Its test suits then allows us to edit or add headers if required in any API or URL. Its provide a lot of customization once it generates the code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the help of low code automation you can just automate few things that are not upgrading frequently. Else we cant rely on this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are getting automated quality checks for the deployment of our application across all browsers or devices with the help of Quality Gate.
After execution of any automation report we can directly report the error or create tickets from the session history of that particular test case execution. There we already get in built integrations with other project management tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you revisit any of your execution history it takes time to load the recording of your execution. Some times you'll get error in loading that recording after waiting for mins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Browserstack is so popular that we get its support in every other testing tool. We are not using Browserstack directly, instead we are using it via a third party tool. Browserstack helps us to execute our test case in real devices which are being generated by our AI agents.
Since, we are running our our cases with the help of Browserstack we are getting very detailed report of the test cases. We can add tags for better debugging of the cases which leads to more productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Browserstack should also include the AI test case generation feature now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am using Browserstack for more than 5 years for automation testing and manual testing as well. Browserstack has very user rich features. whether it is its App Automate or App Live.
Best part of Browerstack is that it does not require any third party tool whether you are running your automated test cases or manual test cases from Test Management.
Also, when it comes to the device selection we can use number of device and we can run tests parallel as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We can do almost every thing with Browserstack in UI testing. But it does not have support of API testing; Automation or Manual. It should include some feature for testing of APIs as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Test Management and Obersevability comes complementary with other feature of Browserstack which helps us to Analysis the Automated Execution of test. Here we can bifurcate our test based on their failure reasons.
With the use of webhook, we can send real time report from Browserstack Observability to our other monitoring or messaging tools. Integrating these webhooks for alerts is very easy and takes few configs changes only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While triggering actions with the help of webhooks its lacks some tool such as deployment using other CI/CD tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
