As a report designer, it is sometimes quite tricky to place the different objects effectively, even with the align tools (i always need to check the coordinates value of the other element to be sure it's aligned).

Board allows us to consolidate our financial data from multiple systems in a consistent manner at a reasonable price and output financial reports that are ready to be distributed to external users once validated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

System maintenance is not dynamic; we spend a lot of time managing specific setups in our ERP and have to replicate in Board manually. We wish this could be an interface, though perhaps that was a possibility, and our design didn't allow it. I wasn't with Altium when the system specs were designed and agreed upon. Also, although their professional services team was fantastic during and post-implementation, I haven't had as much luck with the traditional support path of creating a ticket with their support team. The few times I tried, the tickets took a long time to be addressed, and the answers weren't very helpful, which shows a knowledge transfer gap between the professional services team and the support team as to system specifics that are unique to a given customer's environment. Also, it is tough to make changes in the system without a Board consultant or having someone highly skilled in Board's complex design by cube. Although we implemented their Budgeting and Forecasting module, it quickly became useless as we made changes in our business that we couldn't easily adjust for within the system. Another comment is that there are too many manual steps in the Consolidation process from start-to-end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system can be adapted to meet organisational needs. It is able to work with existing and new data and be able to give us customised reports and views. We have been able to replicate our current manual process and automate them to get more precise and real-time information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Implementation can be time consuming and I found it hard to dedicate time to work with the development team while still trying to do my normal work. A lot of time is needed to gather the needs, work on the views, test and implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a great all in once decision making platform which combines business intelligence with CPM, Simulation and predictive analytics capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
