BlackFog is designed to stop the data exfiltration component of modern day ransomware events. Data theft is the first thing that happens in modern day ransomware attacks. Many of the big box EDR/MDR solutions are still missing this critical feature.
Deployment and management of the solution is super easy and straightforward. The threat intel available in the admin portal is extremely benefical and up to date.
It is supported on all majors platforms, Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, and ChromeOS.
Please note that BlackFog is very much a complimentary product to your EDR/MDR solutions. You need both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that I wish BlackFog did was remove the malicious software that is exfiltrating data. You will need to rely on your EDR/MDR solution to do this or it may be a manual process if they don't pick it up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Value of benefit for cost. Strong combination of software economies of scale and cost efficiency but with human access, involvement and advice - initiated from Blackfog side - I don't have to remember to reach out to them. They are reviewing and updating me on what they see at regular interval or if something specific comes up. Appreciate how the reports are broken down with executive summary type input when sent to me as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
i'm very happy overall. since your survey requires input here, one thing that would be nice is being able to change the computer ID within the portal while still preserving the actual ID on machine. This way I could quickly, at least on the Blackfog dashboard, label the machines and what user is assigned versus having to reference outside data or go to each machine and rename it. The best feature of BlackFog is it stop data breaches or leaks before it happen. It’s like having a real team member working and previnting data 24*7 without sleep. It blocks all unauthorized data on our network and monotor all the network packets. It keeping monitoring all logs on the host and secure in our network. My daily task is to handle the sensitive information and it helps me to protect it without any extra effort. It helps me focus on my other work without worrying about data leaks or any cyber attacks, knowing that BlackFog has got my back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its an awesome tool with no flaws but still one area where BlackFog could improve is in the user interface. Its UI is bit complex for new users. If they start provide more dashboards or more guided tutorials that will make it easier for everyone to learn and use it quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Between the customer service and the usability of the software, I don't know. I am guessing that it would be the historical presidence that BlackFog has, it makes it a no brainer both for our company and out clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would have to say that the billing and payment methodes allowed by BlackFog are the only issues we ever have had with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to install. The ability to see reports at any time. Tech support is easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Billing seems to be a bit cumbersome (or it did at first.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With BlackFog’s on-device ADX technology, we have been able to significantly enhance our cybersecurity standing. It effectively prevents data leakage on both smartphones and PCs, which has become a major complication in addition to the perimeter protection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BlackFog has a few drawbacks and basically, it does not offer advanced device management tools. This is to mean that we still require a different solution for the management of access to the devices, encrypting, security etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BlackFog is great at spotting and stopping digital threats in its tracks, making sure your data stays safe. It's super flexible, letting you set up security that fits just right and keeps up with the changing threats. Plus, it's easy to get the hang of with a smooth setup and a user-friendly interface. Oh, and the AI integration! It's awesome at catching any weird stuff going on and giving you a heads-up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my journey with BlackFog, the overall impression has been on the positive side, yet opportunities for enhancement abound. Grasping its effective usage initially might pose a tad of a challenge, particularly for those less acquainted with the realm of cybersecurity. Financial implications, contingent on an organization's requisites, can soar, and more transparent pricing alternatives would certainly be beneficial. Merging with systems may present a complexity, demanding technical prowess. Fine-tuning customization choices for precise alignment with distinct needs could add a feather to its cap. Streamlining alert management, notably within expansive organizations, could be a breeze with enhanced categorization and refined filtering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
