What do you like best about BiG EVAL?

Test cases can be defined straightforwardly and flexibly. If you want to do more tests, there are endless possibilities to automate the test creation.

With this flexibility, you can start with some easy tests and improve them step by step to a complete automated test environment that covers all your company data.

What do you dislike about BiG EVAL?

Not much. The support for managing correction lists based on the test results could be improved. But here, we can use the Jira integration, that works fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It guarantees the correct development and maintenance of the data warehouse.

We detect and fix data in major business software solutions.

What do you like best about BiG EVAL?

Easy to use for any type of user and by the looks of it, the upcoming AI features will make it even easier to use. Helped us improve our data quality and massively speed up our testing efforts. What do you dislike about BiG EVAL?

There is not much to dislike about BiG EVAL. It's easy to use, the team are great and their international expansion speaks for itself. Only thing missing is a SaaS offering that could make a speedy deployment even faster. But I am sure the team is already working on that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BiG EVAL solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had issues with our data quality as it was flowing through different systems. Specifically around pricing from vendors to what customers see on our website. What do you like best about BiG EVAL?

The standout feature of BiG EVAl for me was its comprehensive and powerful data testing and quality management capabilities.

Building Data Warehouses!

BiG EVAL is a huge help not only with checking the quality and integrity of the data before we build out a Data Warehouse but also with ETL Validation. BiG EVAL enables the validation of processes involved in populating a Data Warehouse. We can ensure the ETL process is functioning as it should by defining test cases and rules which enable us to verify the accuracy and completeness of data transformations. What do you like best about BiG EVAL?

BiG EVAL provides you with an easy to use web interface for business users. At the same time, test case developers can use the parameters and scripting capabilities to create dynamic test cases, e.g. by reading a database catalog and automatically repeat a test case for a large list of tables. If you combine BiG EVAL with a DWH Automation tool like WhereScape you can benefit even more from the available metadata, for example business key attributes, table types etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Installation and configuration can be tricky depending on your environment, but we are glad that BiG EVAL provides first class support so that we can usually solve our issues in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BiG EVAL?

We started using BiG EVAL as an early adopter, when we migrated our whole data wahrehouse platform from oracle to MSSQL. There, BiG EVAL helped us to check the quality of the migrated code and therefore significantly reduce the testing efforts.

Nowadays, we primarily monitor our daily data processing jobs, what helps us to discover possible data quality issues much earlier. Even after many years of use, we are very happy with BiG EVAL: Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
