The best thing is the free tier, you can just test out their product for as long as you want and then decide if you want the extra features behind the paywall or not.
The UI and the feeling of using the product is just, phhhhhh and even the public Status Page is just too good to be given out for free.
The integrations are what i want and i think that's good enough.

BetterStack is extremely user friendly and I got my monitors and logs setup within an hour of signing up. The feature set, even on the lower pricing tiers is very good. I have had to contact customer support a couple of times with account related queries and everything was sorted within a couple of hours.

Its a base but never basic service that all system must have. It at leas three very useful tools to monitor your productive system: Logging, Alert Incidents and Monitor Stats. It may have others services but the config is so easy that takes a very short time to integrate. Android APP is very limited but has a cool link to login quickly in Better Stack to handle the alert. We use Better Stack for simple uptime monitoring within the free Basic plan yet and we are completely satisfied. We switched to Better Stack from another service which recently cancelled its free plan and we were pleasantly surprised at how simple the setup of the Better Stack was and how intuitive the user interface is. The log telemetry with all of its features is excellent to monitor, analyse and surveil logs. Especially because of our distributed system, it is really helpful to get a consisting monitoring of the applications state. We use a lot of thirdparty APIs, some of them are not that well engineered and regularly have irregularities because of bad change management. We use betterstack for uptime monitoring and its status page functionality to display and report on uptime metrics. The status pages are the best I've seen, they look great and support custom domains. This company is also obviosuly foward thinking as they have been adding support for Playwright scripts. What is most impressive is the simplicity in the installation and use of the application. The status pages can be modified any way we want them, and log monitoring gives us valuable information with little effort. The features I have utilized so far have been great, but I did wish there was more flexibility when it came to setting alert thresholds in the log monitoring system. I think it would be better if the alerts could be triggered under even more specific conditions. Furthermore, for some of the other services, where there is more advanced documentation, a basic, simplistically-oriented auxiliary documentation would be very useful for new users. It saves me a lot of time and the dashboard is really intuitive. I haven‘t been using it for long tbh but I really like what they did here.
