I was looking for a cheaper alternative of Papertrail and I immediately liked the slick design of BetterStack. They have basic metrics too so it could also be a replacement for Datadog if you don't need all the overkill features. The metrics need some kind of auto-discovery feature. They have templates for K8, postgres etc but t currently requires some complex SQL queries that I didn't feel like digging into. That said, I signed up for logging and metrics was a bonus to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
