I was trying to create a "wow factor" presentation but I felt like MS Powerpoint is lacking hence I googled and I was quite thankful that I was able to find Beautiful.AI.
I was just thinking of trying it out but then I was hooked as to how easy it was to create slides and the presence of well-curated templates added to the great experience. The first thing that I liked about the application is the fact that it's simple and intuitive. I wanted to present engaging slides that depict timeline, graph, and hierarchical data and the tool presented both basic and stylized versions that I was easily able to customize. I also like the fact that you can easily change the way that slide elements are displayed and the subtle animations made it looked better.
What would've been a trial became my first opportunity to create a well-versed stylized presentation and all the stakeholders that I've presented to extremely liked it. How do you say? Well, they asked me what tool I've used and in the next few presentations, I noticed that they also used Beautiful.AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't anything that I didn't like about it but there are a few things that I can recommend to improve the application. Here's my list:
1. More granular customizations need to be added like font sizes, font types, and colors
2. "Play mode" needs to be improved

I trialed Beautiful.ai when preparing a presentation for my job interview. It was a free trial and like all free trials they expire (standard practice). As everyone has likely experienced before, I forgot to cancel the trial before the deadline. These guys then proceeded to not charge me for 1 month but for an entire year ($150)! I reached out to them directly and they declined to refund me. To charge a trial customer automatically for an entire year versus put them on a month by month is absolutely a predatory practice and I'll be sure to warn anyone I know in my network about using this product. I like the AI Bot that creates beautiful slides with great visuals. This enables one to create an entire presentation in a short time. It is better than other platforms because of the numerous templates available and the accuracy. The suggestions to shorten or change the tone of the text are also plus. A lot of effort can go into PowerPoint, and the results are still bland. Beautiful.ai not only improves my presentations, it also supports my brand with tools to match our company's fonts and colors, add logos, and more. Plus, I can draw upon hundreds of stock photos and icons from the Beautiful.ai library...and add my own! But that's not all: Beautiful.ai offers dozens of ready templates, adapts to whatever I add (or remove) from a slide, animates these slides with no effort on my part, and allows me to share these slides online and easily collaborate with my team! Offline presentations can be a bit tricky (but c'mon, an internet connection in this day and age shouldn't be an issue), and while Beautiful.ai slides adapt to fit text and images, it sometimes restricts how much I can put into a slide.
