I trialed Beautiful.ai when preparing a presentation for my job interview. It was a free trial and like all free trials they expire (standard practice). As everyone has likely experienced before, I forgot to cancel the trial before the deadline. These guys then proceeded to not charge me for 1 month but for an entire year ($150)! I reached out to them directly and they declined to refund me. To charge a trial customer automatically for an entire year versus put them on a month by month is absolutely a predatory practice and I'll be sure to warn anyone I know in my network about using this product. Offline presentations can be a bit tricky (but c'mon, an internet connection in this day and age shouldn't be an issue), and while Beautiful.ai slides adapt to fit text and images, it sometimes restricts how much I can put into a slide.
