This was a great SaaS while it worked. Reliable, great configuration options and lots of options to integrated with external storage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was previously an easy tool to use that did not need any experience with code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Was a good service that needed a few tweaks to make it easier to use but did the job. Unfortunately I had one instance where the backup was corrupted and could not be used, and now their service has completely stopped creating any backups for all sites and databases for over 10 days with no communication from them about the issue. I have tried contacting support but they are not responding so I believe this company is shutting down and no longer reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We can't claim to like BackupSheep at all as we have hardly used it. We lost access and got terrible support, and then they stopped replying all together. BacupSheep has been a complete waste of time and money for us. Never had any service provider treating us this badly before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That we lost access to our account. The owner is completely unreliable and does not offer support, and they still have our data. We would, unfortunately, recommend you avoid this company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This has streamlined our ability to schedule and manage offsite backups across multiple servers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- the need to whitelist the IP to enable the backups to occur
- lack of WordPress plugin
- no sort options for each backup type (node)... would be handy if we could at least sort in alphabetical order, so we're not scrolling through several pages of backup schedules Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When looking for a backup tool that wasn't too expensive, but was easy to use, and with EU storage, I found backupsheep. It took me about 15 minutes to setup 3 backups. I could't find 1 thing but got personal support right away who showed me where to find the feature. After that it has been a set and forget tool and each night I am happy to receive an email that my backup was a success again :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing I can think off. They are still a small team and this means that sometimes it takes some hours to reply, but at least the replies are good and helpful, unlike some apps where you first have to get through 10 bots before you can talk to someone that can help. There is nothing good about the company, they have no support and they cannot be trusted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Offered Unilmited Lifetime deal, only to set limits after the refund period for Appsumo was over. Cannot be trusted with your money or data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allows you to set up a schedule for when the backups need to take place, what to back up, and it even compresses the backups for a faster transfer.
And did I mention that it lets us share access to team and clients so that they can access them whenever they want? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For newbies who are just getting started in the world of constant website backup, documentation definitely needs to be worked upon. It's not the lack of documentation, but the world and more elaboration for sources is the key here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BackupSheep offers a decent backup solution for your websites, databases and cloud instances. You can either create a backup manually or set a schedule. They offer a decent amount of storage on their own infrastructure as well, which is a huge surplus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To get all your backups configured correctly there is a learning curve, as the documentation is not always clear or even missing. The UI and documentation could be improved. Most suitable for people with some IT technical background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am one of the unfortunate AppSumo customers who bought the lifetime deal for Rootpal website hosting. They were decent for a while, but then their entire platform crashed in July for a week and all their sites went down. There was nothing I could do because I didn't have any recent backups, and neither did they. Doing backups by hand is laborious, so I tend to forget about them or put them off. So I was held hostage until Rootpal restored my sites.
This motivated me to find a backup solution, and I remembered BackupSheep. I bought a tier-1 code and scheduled it for weekly backups of my database and all the files on my FTP.
Wouldn't you know it, but Rootpal got hacked on August 18 and all of their servers were deleted. Every single site was destroyed. My sites are still not up, as of August 31! And most people who do have their site restored are furious about how old the backups are, from June and July. Months of work, email archives, you name it, all gone!
Thankfully, I had my BackupSheep backups. I gave Rootpal more than a week to restore my site, and they've failed to communicate. As we speak I'm transferring my hosting to a VPS and importing the files and database. Should have done it sooner. Also should have done daily backups. Lesson learned. I'm just glad that I have the option to restore them somewhere else.
Thanks, BackupSheep! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The first time you set up a connection in BackupSheep it can be a bit tricky. I was also confused by the scheduling clock. But I wrote to their chat for support. It took a week for a reply, but when they did, they answered my question. They also added some handy scheduling buttons that make it easier for everyone on the site to schedule daily, weekly, and monthly backups. So the founder had a good response and is actively making their software better.
I want them to add pCloud support. It's on their roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Really responsive team, easy service to use with great integrations. Would recommend. Very easy for scheduling snapshots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The jury is still out. I've only been using them for a short while, but so far I have no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A few hiccups with scheduled backups when they switched data centers, but we were notified right away and just had to reassign the storage and we were good to go. Backups run like clockwork! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would be nice if they integrated with Encryptedwork for storage Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
