It is an combined bundled cloud platform to manage your services or instances. And when it comes to organisation having windows machine in Ad like ours, then it becomes very easy to manage all the IT or devops stuff. We can manage our VMs, cosmos DB, Kube services, various resource groups- according to projects, blob storage services etc. from an single platform. And for security it always set on high as it have azure key vault, defender which continuous check for any vulnerabilitis and you can remidiate them accordingly. What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

- Azure has vast varitiy of serivces, be it PAAS, SAAS, or IAAS, so depending on your solution needs you can choose your prefered option.

- Integration with 3rd party tools is easier to implement and secure with OAuth 2.0 approach (based on Azure service principal)

- Do you want to host a simple static website -> just use Storage account, or VM, or App service, choice is yours!

- Facing any issues with any of the implemented solution? Just get in touch with Microsoft support (you need to have the basic support plan) and they will help you to sort out the issue in the best way possible.

- The Azure portal interface is simple and easy to use, resource are grouped using resource groups, so segration of Environments can be done on Subscription and resource group level.

- Analysing the cost is easier at scope of resource group or subscription level.

- There are multiple ways by which you can monitor your application and setup alerts as per your solution's requirement.

- Permission management & assignment is easier with Role based access control.

- Being a frequent user of Azure for more than 5 years, I would highly recommand the use of Azure for your next solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

- For most of the services they provide good SLA, however if there are any issues, eg. Network timeout for consumption based logic apps, Azure Data factory, then even if we contact the support, there is a high chance that the support team may not be able to provide you detailed log info, and you have to implement a retry or some sort of workaround.

- Sometimes due to temporary outage of services, alert firing might be missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

Microsoft Azure has highly available services, due to which hosting a solution is easier, and mainly that means you can access it from anywhere in world, this means less of maintaince, making sure of the hosting services are up or not, and more of actual work that can be done!

Compared to other cloud platforms some of the solutions are cheaper / simply better on Azure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

Switching to Microsoft Azure from our On-Premise environment has been one of the best decisions of our Organisation. Its easy to understand and implement features has been the highlight for me. Along with this, the customer support of Microsoft Azure is available 24/7 either via chat, email or even a phone call. In my work, I have to use Microsoft Azure on a daily basis. Initially it was scary to switch to cloud but Microsoft Azure has helped us to easily integrate our work to cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

There's actually not much to dislike about the Microsoft Azure, but if I had to choose something that could be made better is the cost which Microsoft charges. Although all the cost is justified by the product, but it is still not easy for small business to afford this cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

The plenty amount of features mingled with great customer service are the best things about Microsoft Azure. It's solutions for data management like blobs and data factories are among the features that I use the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

The UI can be a bit confusing to navigate for a novice user. Also the pricing is on a higher end when compared to other cloud solutions providers. Also it keeps on suggesting to use RBACs and other azure managed features to increase the security score which eventually leads to increase in cost. These are the few things that I dislike about azure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

Azure is solving a lot of problems like providing azure managed cosmos DBs which are easy to scale and monitor. We have our entire kubernetes architecture on azure which is undoubtedly very efficient. The virtual machines are very useful for us as we have hosted our wordpress servers, our entire ELK setup and our VPN setup on the azure managed VMs. These are the areas in which it is benefiting us.
