The upsides of using Avoma are the call transcirptions and the organization of the meetings and calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are paying for double the amount of seats that we need. We only have 48 active users and are paying for 87. We don't have the headcount that we did at the beginning of the year, which we let them know about, and they signed us up for another year with the same amount of people. We asked multiple times to revisist the contract and renegotiate the user count with them. Multiple times they flat out refused. They will not even meet us halfway. We will not renew our next contract with Avoma due to this.
You cannot download playlists, you need to find the snippet in the playlist, search for the call by the name (which doesn't always find the call), and then find the snippet in the call. This is extremely time consuming.
They do not offer assistance in bulk downloading calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Avoma is a great tool since it eliminates the need for detailed note taking during meetings (or really any note taking at all). It effectively captures a transcript of the meetings and summarizes the key points and purpose so that it's easy to understand what was discussed and with what tone.
The user interface is very clean and easy to navigate. It's laid out in a logical and helpful way to navigate through meeting topics, speakers, etc. It's also very easy to share meetings with external parties through the Playlist functionality, completely removing the need to specify links to meetings.
Avoma also has helpful integrations. The fact that it integrates with Zoom so easily is a big plus, and lets it be a "set it and forget it" tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that recordings became available more quickly so that I could go and organize them immediately after a call ended. I think this is a limitation of processing power in today's infrastructure (ex. Zoom recordings are also not available immediately). Perhaps if there was a way to have a placeholder showing that a meeting was being processed but that still allowed me to organize the recording, it would be convenient and reduce the chance of me forgetting to move it. Avoma is a more cost effective solution than Gong. That was the main reason for our transition. Avoma has everything we need from a feature standpoint. The onboarding process with them has been extremly smooth. I like how we have a dedicated CS rep that responds quickly and is willing to hop on calls when we have questions. I think the UX can be improved a bit. Coming from Gong it took me a bit to understand. Now that I know where everything is it's not a huge concern. Anothter thing is having an email address I can add to invites quickly that will add the Avoma recorder to meetings. I know they're working on this feature.
Nothing really negative on our end. We're a happy customer and look forward to growing with their team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an assistant who spends a lot of time in meetings, Avoma has been a great tool for me.
The transcription feature is super accurate, saving me hours of note-taking. The summaries are clear and cover all the important points, including action items and decisions. It's easy to use and integrates smoothly with my calendar and video conferencing tools.
In short, Avoma saves time, ensures I don’t miss anything important, and helps me stay on top of my tasks. It’s a great tool for anyone who wants to get more out of their meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing I dislike about Avoma. It meets my expectations in every way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was searching for an AI tool to help me with the ability to QC my teams sales calls in an easy and comprehensive manner. After some due diligence I found Avoma, Everett was very helpful and patient with helping me understand the value and went above and beyond to help build a strong value propisition to present to my bosses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Small thing, the software has an extensive list of features and uses. Until you get to learn a few short cuts it can seem overwhelming to set up. Everett was able to help me do this quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- I love how Avoma integrates with Salesforce.
- I absolutely love the AI-generated meeting notes. Not only is it super easy, but it is really accurate!
- I like that my employees can request a scoring/review of a particular call, and I get notified of the request.
- I love the call Transcript. I find it to be very accurate, and I like that I can click on a paragraph and the call will jump to that timestamp in the recording. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- I find the AI call scoring to be gimicky and provides little value - but that might be because I have not done enough to set up my scoring templates?
- I would like to see additional tags that can be applied to call recordings (ie: churn risk, good training example, etc...)
- I would like to see a training module built into Avoma. Something that allows me to add recordings to training module that I can use to certify employees on pitching a new product, use for onboarding training for new-hire employees, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tools are only as good as their customer support. Avoma has not only nailed exactly what a top tier call intelligence tool should be, but it's there customer support that has won me over!
I'm a CRO that is not only leads sales, but also marketing so my time is extremely limited. The call coaching functionality provides coaching when I don't have the time. It offers detailed feedback on our sales calls, pinpointing areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. This has enabled me to quickly provide targeted coaching to my reps.
We have also used Avoma to capture the voice of the customer. Not everyone call be on all the calls. So being able to program the tool to capture this and report back is huge! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much to dislike, but if I had to pick one, it would be the indepth setup. You really have to tailor each section to get the most out of the tool - which takes time.
But, my CSM has held my hand the entire way, taking baby steps with me to get this setup. It's been an amazing experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Avoma is one of the tools I use on a daily basis. AI grading & feedback on calls. Helpful to pay attention to things you may forget or identify opportunities you can improve on when leading or partaking in calls. The feeback helps to level up the customer support you are able to provide. The software itself is very easy to use and integrate with other softwares to make recording calls easy. Sometimes the AI feeback can be very rigid and does not take nto account variables of the call or flow of the call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The AI notes—honestly, they are life-changing. It's so much faster to review those key takeaways than to fumble through the transcript of a half-hour call. I can actually have a conversation with my prospects rather than interview them because I know that Lady Avoma has my back. She is a daily tool now, and I honestly don't know how I ever did my job without her. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish that the followup email tool was a bit more advanced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
AI has been on point compared to others.
Integration support - we have made Avoma a top 3 tool inside our marketing agency and its saved so much workflow chasing between teams weekly.
They created multiple support videos, docs, etc that are specific to our workflow as a top tier marketing agency.
I can always reach them on slack - daily.
The connection to Clickup and Hubspot saves us at least 5 hours week per project manager and it saves 10+ hours of wasted onboarding effort when launching a new client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are always a few things with any technology, however, we have direct access to customer success team in slack and they have always supported above and beyond. At times, even created new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
