I've used Gong at a couple of different organizations, and I find Avoma more user friendly and the AI Notes are always right on point making my follow up work so much easier! I don't have to comb through calls for a certain piece of information because the AI notes always catch it. I really love this product and am so glad that my current organization switched over to it! I don't have any critiques at this time because it really does all I need it to! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Avoma has been a game-changer for our organization. The AI-powered transcription and meeting summaries ensure that customer insights are captured and actionable next steps are clear for everyone. There are native integrations with Zoom, HubSpot (our current CRM), and other tools which have enhanced our workflows, making it easier to align teams and keep projects on track. Avoma has allowed our teams to focus more on strategic discussions rather than administrative tasks (such as having to ask "can someone please take notes"). We had a really easy implementation with a successful migration from our legacy tool, Gong. All of our customer intelligence was maintained and regenerated using Avoma's AI. Thus far, their customer support has been fantastic and respond to us via the chat or on Slack! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since Avoma is a newer platform, they are iterating quickly, which means occasional minor bugs or the need to request new features. However, we have not experienced any major issues, and their team is highly responsive to feedback, consistently rolling out updates that we suggest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The automatic recording transcription features are very accurate, saving us time and ensuring nothing gets lost in conversation.
The ability to differentiate speakers and the summary of meeting notes that are provided at the end make it easy to follow discussions and reference any key points later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It sometimes takes a little while for the Avoma note taker to join a meeting. Sometimes the speaker names aren't captured. When watching a recording, the camera shows off for a person even though their camera is on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its very easy to use. setting it up with zoom and other video calling systems is very easy. Not only does it record the conversation but it recaps and allows you to read the transcript. I use it at least 3 times a week. its a life saver! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The transcripts arent 100% accurate so i reccoment you read throough to make sure before copying and pasting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that it takes notes for me and then organizes the whole conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the "this call will be recorded" message was sooner in the call. I find it annoying when I'm talking with a client and it says that a minute or so into the meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I value how Avoma’s AI-generated summaries capture all significant points, allowing me to focus on the conversation rather than taking notes. Its integration with standard calendar and conferencing tools simplifies scheduling and post-meeting reviews, and the analytics feature offers concise, actionable insights. The transcription accuracy can fluctuate if audio quality is suboptimal, and I would prefer more options for customizing analytics. Nevertheless, these minor drawbacks do not substantially reduce the platform’s overall effectiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful part about avoma for me is the feedback after my calls. Such as how much I talked vs how much the client talked during the calls. I tend to over talk on some of the calls so its allowed me to look back at them and to see how much I tend to do that. So it allows me to have more insight. Another feature that I use for every call is the scorecard feature. This alone has helped raise the quality of my calls. Its very easy to think that you covered everything that you need to on the calls but Avoma allowed me to actually see some key points that I was not bringing up on the call which can be crucial. It allowed me to see that some of those questions I was asking in a very broad since and not being specific. So I looked back at the scorecard, looked at which questions I was missing more often and then made it a point to make sure to ask those on my calls and the quality has improved significantly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To me the only downside would be the AI that jumps on the calls. I know this is something that probably cannot be avoided but it just makes it feel like someone else is on the calls but know its another way it allows the system to take better notes of the calls. I do feel like the notes tab on the calls can be a little overbearing for me. When I see a bunch of words, lines and sections it can be a little overwhelming especially on a very busy day. Thats why I feel that I tend to stick more to the scorecards feature and that really helps me know what I miss/go over etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the transcripts of calls to quickly review calls I didn't make. I also enjoy it for use for internal training and coaching. Sharing snippets with team members is also particularly useful. Their customer support is also great and they are very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I struggle with the permissions within the tool and grouping calls into appropriate teams so that those who need access get the recordings but also keeping the privacy and security standards maintained at our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customization while meeting with clients. You are able to really learn what the highs and lows are that pain points and what is most importants. The take ways summaries are awesome. Also, having the transparency of the meeting and ablity to go back and clarify if and when needed. Very easy to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
