What do you like best about Authorize.net?

The up time is generally stable and there does not seem to have other option there Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Authorize.net?

we had a few instances that we need customer support because of service interuption. of course as a ecommerce merchant, they are emergency for us and would like their support to resolve the issues right away. Authorize.net support team are not helpful in resolving issues and keep saying the issues are caused by other vendors. Turned out, they didn't know how to trouble shoot and at the end, had to create a new account and restart our services. Obviously, they need to train their support team much better. What do you like best about Authorize.net?

Seamless integration with various ecommerce cms'

Also seems to be the most widely used payment solutions. For what it is, Authorize.net is a great platform, payments go through well, there are plenty of fraud protection settings and a lot of verification methods for cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Authorize.net?

If you are in a retail business....stay away. Actually if your business is one in which credit card disputes are a problem due to fradulent customers, then stay away from Authorize.net. They charge a fee of $35 for every case you get against you win or lose so unless you have a perfect solution to prevent credit card disputes, I recommend you use Paypal Payments pro. Recommendations to others considering Authorize.net:

If you need a safe and reliable payment vendor then by all means try authorize.net, however if you deal with disputes and credit card chargebacks then I recommend you look somewhere else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Authorize.net solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were losing a ton of business by only accepting payments through paypal (not paypal pro) so we figured we would use Authorize since everyone seems to use this platform. It was all very useful and got us out of a tight spot but once we started using it more and more we ran into problems that made us change vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Authorize.net?

Their API is simple, straight-forward, and well documented. They integrate with most shopping cart software now, like Magento. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Authorize.net?

I cannot say I dislike anything. They are a processor, plain and simple. Every once in a while I'd get a strange error code with Discover cards, but I just needed to program around it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Authorize.net solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've now worked with Authorize.net in 3 different systems, the 1st back in 2004, where I integrated with a comma-separated API. The 2nd was in 2006 for OroLatina.com, using their Advanced XML API. Finally, and most recently, OroLatina moved from my custom cart to Magento, where Authorize.net was built-in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Authorize.net?

I can easily see all the transactions even it was declined and error Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Authorize.net?

Not too easy to find all this functions and there are not many video to show it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Authorize.net solving and how is that benefiting you?

There was not a problem and we just switched a merchant since Google Wallet is no longer available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
