Treasure Data is packaging several powerful open source software very well and providing it with amazing customer support. Since their product is open-source based, their documentation is old or incomplete often times. Also, they are upgrading their system very frequently, but not providing the release note each time. It's fine as long as their change doesn't cause any issues, but once it causes an issue, it's very frustrating to figure out the root cause of the issue without the release note. - TD provides real time reporting with a very intuitive UI which gives the marketeers to make marketing decisions easily and without spending too much time

Building Data pipelines and monitoring them is very smooth, also it allows us to write sql and python scripts within workflows which allows to do lot of customizations to achive our company specific goals. Treasure data CDP is a great product having all the necessary capabilities to support customers personalization needs . More than 250+ out of the box connectors make the integration faster , the audience studio is the isolated from data workbench which makes it easier for marketers to create the segments and activate it without depending much on the IT team . Treasure Data is perhaps the most reliable software I've used, it just works and you can trust the data within it. Implementation can be a tad tricky but I believe that it can be done easily in house (even with a complex business) with a technical marketing person and a software developer. As per the title, the softwares great but you need to put in the work, it's something that requires you to really come up with a strategy and make sure that you're using the software a few times a week and monitoring what you're doing. Treasure Data have great CSMs who are very involved but naturally can't offer you in depth technical support, when we started we struggled a bit thinking that the best approach was to ask them for help whenever we had a problem.
