Honestly the only dislike I would have about Applitools is that some of their documentation online is out of date and thankfully because we have the slack integration with their team, I'm able to get better more up to date information that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to find. With a company as large as theirs with as many product offerings they have, it can be difficult to always stay on top of documentation, but when there is only one resource to follow and that resource is wrong or out-dated it can be frustrating during the development process. Particularly when compared to other testing techniques that I have tried in the past, the use of screenshots and image comparison technology ensures that all visual elements are being checked and validated, making it an effective tool for detecting and fixing visual bugs.

Applitools effectively integrates our Application Under Test (AUT) with our Application Driver (Selenium/Appium) through its Eyes SDK. We can easily identify differences while processing baseline images through Eyes Server. It also provides steadfast Test Manager utility, which captures the test results, updates our baselines and reports the differences between two test runs.
