What do you like best about Applitools?

The first time a saw this product i was super curious to check how easy is to use it and manage the results. So far it turns out that is very handy and easy to operate. It has many options to manage the results of the screenshot it gives. And very very important, it super easy to configure and categorize the results you take every day, in order to point if you found a bug or if the new image is the new base line for the next run. What do you dislike about Applitools?

After using applitools Eyes on every day basics i see that the environment sometimes is very heavy for a medium system and you have to wait more time in order to fetch and present the results of the test you choose. Also some times it does not give results and you need to refresh the page on the browser in order to get them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Applitools:

I believe is a very must for an QA engineer to contact with the Eyes sales and take a free trial of this software in order to check and see if it is suitable for his needs. I found it very useful and convenient for my work and very pleased that my company choose to invest and use it from now on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using applitools Eyes for my work environment it gives me the opportunity to produce more tests in less time and also keep the very nature of the test intact. In many cases is much easier to code the same test on Eyes than on python, which is the main language we use for our tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Testing images on mobile or web. Comparing whether an image is present or not. Matching images with an existing image Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it mismatched some images. It cannot do well with low resolution images. It gets ambiguous in some cases in determining the logos. Similar colors that are close in contrast cannot be determined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UI testing is an awesome tool. It has saved a lot of time when testing across different browsers. I love their continuous sessions, and this is the best testing tool on the market.
