We are using Apple Search Ads to advertise both our internal apps and our clients' apps. The tool allows you to create campaigns and ads in a simple and easy way. It also supports server-to-server integrations and has good reporting systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Search Ads?

The system, comparable to other advertising platforms, has limited features. It's also less user-friendly than other platforms and has a steep learning curve. Also, being a monopoly in this search the pricing is too expensive compared to the reach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apple Search Ads solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are an advertising contractor and are using Apple Search Ads to advertise our client's apps as well as our internal apps. It's currently the best (and only?) way to reach users searching apps on the Apple App Store, which makes it an advertising monopoly. It's a very cost-effective platform to get IOS App installs and has a very simple user interface. It directly tracks the app installed since it's a native apple platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are not too many campaign objectives and campaign types. Also, some campaign objectives become very expensive sometimes. The reporting is also very basic and should be more advanced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The dashboard shows KPI clearly. And setting up advanced keyword targeting was pretty easy. And the auto-optimization based on the bidding price is pretty strong. And the app installation quality seems pretty good. Uninstall ratio is pretty stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Search Ads?

Overall bidding price pretty high compared to Google Ads. In the App Store Apple Connect, they don't show install source as Apple Search Ads so I feel like there is some grey area. They don't allow creating ad creatives and targeting is quite limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
