I have been using AppCheck for the past few months, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and capabilities. As someone who prioritises cybersecurity, I find AppCheck to be an invaluable tool in safeguarding my digital assets. It has provided us to move away from traditional 1 penetration test per year to as many times as we like throughout the weeks or months. This has given us greater insight into the current threats of the organisation rather than wait around for any potential breach or cyber security assessment in the future. At the moment we haven't found any particular issue with App Check, it is doing what we wanted it to and is easy to use. The only downside i would say is not being able to amend our scan list of IP's which requires a support ticket to be raised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have subscribed to AppCheck for automated pen testing as well as manual testing. We use it weekly to check our code base and to ensure we haven't accidentally slipped in any known vulnerabilities in our code. The web interface is easy to use and is very good at generating a report. Setting up was easy and very straightforward and easily integrated into our systems. It's quite easy to learn and adapt. It's got the features that all commercial scanning systems should have.

The reports are very professional and provide a good level of details about the vulnerabilities found. There are also good levels of settings that can be enabled and tweaked to have very customized scans. To set it up, it's quite easy to do so.

There are also good integrations with JIRA as well as Go script. This enables me to run the scan as part of compliancy needs regularly. I have rarely needed support but whenever I have reached out to them, they have been quite good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I somehow would like to have a self service portal to add urls / scan targets as sometimes I am a little blocked by this move. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Appcheck has been a great tool for us at LSTC, it identified numerous vulnerabilities, mainly in firmware on devices such as access points and NAS boxes, this helped us identify the devices that needed to be replaced if they were no longer in support. The AppCheck platform is very easy to use; it's quick to pickup and implement into existing business workflows. The platform has lots of information and guidance for the end user, and the online guides/FAQs are detailed so we don't have to rely on the support team and therefore allow us to be self-sufficient in our own security scanning.

All interactions with AppCheck have been great, the team are very professional and knowledgeable. The platform gives us confidence that it's constantly up to date with the latest security vulnerabilities, and the continual release of new features demonstrates that it's a strong product which will continue to work for us in the future. Appcheck offers the ability to conduct unlimited re-scans! When working in an agile environment this allows us to re-scan for each release ensuring we have full visibility of any vulnerabilities.

AppCheck is highly configurable so really allows a lot of customisation. It also allowed us to get started easily with pre built templates so was able to start scanning quickly then grow with it over time as our understanding grew.

Some of the configuration options can be confusing to understand possibly as there's so much on offer. This coupled with the UI which can feel a little combersome to use at times

We are still early in the journey to get GoScript really in use for scanning our platform. It would have been great to have got going with this sooner but appreciate it's quite specialised, but is another tool we will grow with over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
