What problems is Apache Edgent solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Apache Edgent to determine whether the data is solving the purpose by monitoring its parameters. I even use the sensor feature of Edge client to get notified of any parameters out of typical scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apache Edgent?

I like that it supports newer versions of Java and Android. I enjoy that it supports multiple languages with priorities driven by members of the community. It reduces the amount of data transmitted to analytics servers. It reduces the amount of data needed to be stored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apache Edgent?

It get be a little harder to navigate and get used to and it's not the most popular option out there. If you are experiencing any issues you are on your own. Support isn't the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apache Edgent solving and how is that benefiting you?

This solves a problem by allowing you to send only essential and meaningful data as opposed to sending the entire kitchen sink. I enjoy how it uses analytics to decide when data needs to be sent to a backend system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apache Edgent?

It's nice that this tool is Java based and runs on raspberry Pi (which I'm currently working on). It's also nice that it's integrated to Kafka. I also enjoy we'll done Junit integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
