Qualified is a performance based platform that allows organizations to use coding assessments and pair programming interviews to vet technical talent. Unlike other platforms, we use actual unit tests and a wide range of language specific testing frameworks that better predict actual on the job performance. Any assessment can easily be turned into a pair-programming session and all assessments can be timed and recorded in order to give hiring managers a deeper level of insight into each candidates thought process and problem solving ability. Qualified is built to be integrated into other platforms and inside any evaluation process. The test and submit use different data for checks. While testing it shows success but while submitting it shows code failed. Perhaps, test data could be made more inclusive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your feedback on Qualified. With regards to your feedback, test cases can be hidden intentionally which is likely what happened in this instance. Here's some context on why a company might choose to do that:

"Hidden test cases are used when you want to test for cases that you do not wish to report back to the candidate. For example: Let's say you may have a number of edge cases that you want to test for, to see if a candidate typically writes defensive code. If you provide these tests in your test suite, the candidate will submit their code, see that they failed the edge case tests, and then proceed to fix them. You will not be able to fully determine if the candidate would normally have thought to write defensive code on their own since the test results gave the requirement away.

Hidden tests solve this problem by allowing you to include tests within the test suite that are not presented back to the candidate. From the candidate's perspective it is as if there are no edge case tests. The score that they are shown will also not reflect the edge case tests. From the reviewer's perspective these tests will be shown within the output and the score will reflect the entire suite of test cases."

What do you like best about Qualified.io?

We've recruited our entire engineering team so far with Qualified and plan to continue to do so. The interface is very reliable, works as expected, and allows us to include custom assessments in multiple languages in addition to several existing questions. We like the time slider, timing metrics, automated tests, and built-in editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualified.io?

It would be nice if there were more automated checks for plagiarism which I believe is in the works / recently released. Sometimes, the notification emails don't come through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

These guys run codewars.com as well, and are priced much more economically than larger players. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
