The simple and clean interface and the ability to sync with Evernote. The low price, too. Alternote 2.0 promises full markdown support, something that the official Evernote client is missing, and drags users towards competing products, like LeaNote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no much to dislike, as the app is simple and polished. But their site states since 2015 that Alternote 2.0, with full Markdown syntax, including code snippets and tables, and an iOS version are imminent, but there is still no trace of them. At the moment the lack of mobile app is a serious drawback, compared to the ubiquitous original Evernote client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This app was great to begin with. I used it, because Evernote was becoming too bloated on the Mac.
It was a clean interface and beautifully designed.
Makes note taking much easier.
Well integrated with Evernote features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It stopped being maintained after about a year of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Useful for Mac use and organising quick and long-form notes. Nice, distraction-free design. Worth the $7 for storage and layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It feels somewhat similar to other note taking software but there’s nothing particularly negative otherwise I have found as of yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
