What do you like best about Alooba?

Sufficient the time allowed to complete the assessment. The time alloted and questions were just right to answer the candidate having real experience. What do you like best about Alooba?

I have found Alooba to be both a useful tool for automation and insightful for analysis of prospective candidates.

It is without a doubt that I will support the usage of Alooba for future hiring rounds; in my team and other parts of our organization. This is a tool you should use early and frequently in managing your technical assessments!

My initial impression as a job applicant was positive and I sought it out as part of our hiring strategy. Much to my

immediate relief, the founder replied directly and got us going. Fantastic customer service!

The off the shelf assessments are another way to save time and easily implement. I also really liked being able to swap questions more applicable to my role target in place of the default ones.

I really like the analytics on the assessments, particularly the 'awareness' feature. In a techincal field it's nice to know who underestimates their ability relative to peers and may possess a growth mindset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alooba?

If using the platform with other hiring tools, it can be a bit challenging to quickly access roster of applicant data. Alooba takes time to anonymize results which is good but to my knowledge I could only reveal one applicant at a time. This was tough for mapping back to the other talent managment tools I use. I wasn't able to integrate with our existing talent platform simply because I didn't have the approval. It's good to see Alooba offers that integration too.

I'm afraid it has to be said that one question had the wrong rubric which drove a lot of confusion among applicants and may erode trust for some users. For me it wasn't a big deal as all applicants had the same set of questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Alooba solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hiring data scientists in an ever evolving field of technology. Alooba helps us objectively assess candidates without having to conduct verbal technical screening as we did previously. Alooba saves us time, money and helps us identify well rounded applicants. Combined with a behavioral interview, it is the most comprehensive way I've see to recruit. What do you like best about Alooba?

I work on very technical roles and as a non technical person it can be difficult to screen them through a phone call. Alooba enables me to test their technical skills before sending them to a client. My clients can then get a baseline of their technical skills without wasting any time on an interview based purely on what's written in their resume.

The questions can be bespoke however they also have a huge range of pre-loaded questions varying in difficulty levels across many technical platforms and tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alooba?

I personally don't see any downsides to using Alooba. It's been very helpful in screening candidates for one of our largest clients who I've made more than 100 placements with over a two year period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Alooba?

Overall a fantastic tool and does a great job in reducing time spent on screening candidates.

Alooba has a great UI for both hiring managers / recruiters as well as candidates. I thought that the amount of customsation options that is provided to the end-users is sufficient to be able to tailor the experience, but is not particularly extensive such that it's time-consuming to set up. Content coverage across the different data domains is also fantastic.

Compared to the more generic tech or software-based screening software options on the market, I thought this was a much better tool for hiring purposes. The tool is very effective for the purposes of screening for entry-level roles. Customer support is excellent and responsive. I would recommend this product. What do you dislike about Alooba?

At this stage, I have not identified anything about the Alooba tool that I'm not happy with. One suggestion for future iterations (if not already built in), would be to increase the difficulty of the test based on the initial few questions' response, i.e. dynamically generate the questions. What do you like best about Alooba?

The most important thing that I appreciate in this product is flexibility, adaptability and quick response to any feedback. And therefore the platform is easy to use right after introduction.

In some questions, both theoretical and practical, there were questions that were formulated ambiguously. Because of this, the analysts who passed through often made mistakes. What do you like best about Alooba?

Alooba is cumbersome in evaluating candidates. It has been poor, in finding the match for our clients. With a monitor record of over 100 placements in two years I say that Alooba has blocked my job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Alooba?

I've been using Alooba since it was in its very early stages. I've been impressed with their rapid rate of growth in terms of features and tools, while also ensuring the tool is still easy to use. Working with the Alooba team is great. Super responsive. The setup of an assessment is quick and easy. The assessment itself allows us to remove bias from the tech aspect of our interview process while also saving a ton of time in creating and grading take-home projects from the past. What do you like best about Alooba?

We were able to quickly get up and running with an assessment tailored to our needs. The responsiveness and support of the Alooba team at Alooba was impressive. Building and tailoring consistent testing for various roles allowed us set a baseline by which all applicants could be compared. We used Alooba as one step in the hiring process, and found that the Alooba assessments help take the guesswork out of whittling down prospective candidates, We were also impressed with the workflow and simple way to view and compare results.
