What do you like best about Akamai CloudTest?

It is one of the easiest performance test. The GUI is very user friendly. Their is option of 2 types of correlations - manual correlations and automatic correlations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Akamai CloudTest?

Their are some new functionalities such as burst. Also, recording with conductor sometimes consumes a lot of time. You can use the chrome extension instead of conductor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since there are many resources, sometimes it isn't easy to find the solution online if not searched with proper keywords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Akamai CloudTest?

I like the feature to integrate with AWS and it has the ability to simulate the real user experience to generate load in a different location from across the world. Integrated access to all major public cloud platforms, plus customers' internal private cloud and even bare-metal hardware for use in scalable internal and external tests. What do you dislike about Akamai CloudTest?

CloudTest is a cloud-hosted tool, hence, the initial setup would need whitelisting to access on-premise application under test and this is a huge time taking action. Documentation needs improvement to debug the issues occurs during the test.

What do you like best about Akamai CloudTest?

I appreciate the ability to load test without needing to involve dozens of extra players on my side. CloudTest takes all the work off of my plate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Akamai CloudTest?

I do wish it was a bit cheaper. I could stand to load test more often than I do but the price is sometimes prohibitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Definitely pair this solution with a synthetic test like Rigor because otherwise, you'll miss a good portion of what the end user is seeing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Akamai CloudTest solving and how is that benefiting you?

Far and away the best thing I have learned from CloudTest is how to better prepare my website for peak periods. I'm used to synthetic testing showing basic performance but knowing for sure how it responds when under load has helped me scale infrastructure to keep the experience as good as when it's not under as much load.
