What do you like best about airfocus?

The ability to customize how features and tasks are scored helps our team be consistent and honest when we prioritize. Previously we've struggled to evaluate different features and ideas consistently and to make sure that we keep our vision and strategy in mind when doing so. The addition of Insights was also very welcome. We've started using that immediately and look forward to there being more integrations available for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about airfocus?

Keeping Airfocus in sync when we start the development of a feature is the most significant pain point for us today. We haven't found a good way to report the progress of tasks to Airfocus from the task tracking systems developers use, which means we can't get an overview of the actual progress without leaving Airfocus. It's still way better than any other tools we've tested, and it feels like it's constantly improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is airfocus solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use AirFocus to keep track of proposed features, gather feedback, and to score and evaluate them. In addition, we use it to prioritize and plan out our development work and to discuss and communicate roadmap decisions internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about airfocus?

Airfocus makes the feedback loop and prioritization across multidisciplinary teams seamless. It's easy to use, intuitive, and provides a clear link between project ideation and execution. It's not a brainstorming tool. It's not a project management tool. It's a very good project execution tool. Better still, it's a powerful and flexible database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about airfocus?

The system interface is a little clunky. One's ability to customize the screen is good but not without limits that can be maddening at times. But, that is NOT enough reason to avoid it. Just know you'll need to spend some time and creativity to really understand all the uses of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering airfocus:

No other software, to my knowledge, sits as perfectly in the space between idea and project management. The Airfocus system allows teams to set criteria, score across multidisciplinary teams, and develop a clear execution strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is airfocus solving and how is that benefiting you?

For our annual strategic planning, we used the system to gather ideas from brainstorming, score them and then assign owners and execution matrixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about airfocus?

It's so clear, provide a lot of integration - Give such a great overview on all the projects happening and what i love the most: the possibility to add my own columns! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about airfocus?

The "product timeline" view is really not ok if you are tracking a lot of projects in paralelle. It would be much better to reorganise it manually or customize it more. As a result, I just use the "backlog" view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering airfocus:

Can be tough to onboard yourself on it, but once you are more confortable, it's great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is airfocus solving and how is that benefiting you?

I organise my whole product roadmap, and note here my ideas and plan for the quarters to come Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about airfocus?

Priority poker is a method that lets you achieve a valuable priority score with the contribution of different stakeholders while taking little time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about airfocus?

The integration with Azure DevOps is a killer feature for us, but, once in a while, we found some small integration issues with Tags or archived items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is airfocus solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our product backlog is a long list of valuable ideas. Our challenge is to have a meaningful, transparent, and fast prioritization method. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about airfocus?

Loving Airfocus. I love the simplicity of the tool and it is helping me do some focused product planning without worrying about too many bells and whistles. It is simple but still is flexible enough for me to add my own custom fields and play around with the scoring formula. I also love how the standard template setup is still good enough to get started and the backlog flows smoothly into the roadmap and the roadmap into the release plan. The integration with JIRA also makes this so end-to-end because now I can turn my roadmaps into action items for engineering easily and have reverse visibility in JIRA as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about airfocus?

I would have loved to share our roadmap publicly with our customers and get their feedback and feature requests here. Right now, this feature is missing. I would also love to see native PRDs and specs (with templates) that integrate with the roadmap items on Airfocus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is airfocus solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was using multiple tools like Clickup, GSuite JIRA for Product Management. They all had some features that helped me, but nothing catered to my PM workflow. There was a lot of setup required, and some tools were so crowded that it just became overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about airfocus?

Airfocus provides different visualizations of data to help organize tasks/projects on several dimensions. Scoring items on mulitple factors allows product owners and executives a much better understanding of how to rank items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about airfocus?

Airfocus is not integrated with JIRA or any other tool to create an actionable delivery plan. As work on items begins, Airfocus becomes less valuable as a result and then needs to be manually updated and synced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering airfocus:

Airfocus is a good tool for working with product management teams and executives. Airfocus can provide a lot of clarity to the product roadmap and becomes a very useful tool in brainstorming and strategy meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is airfocus solving and how is that benefiting you?

When looking at product features, our team struggled with prioritization and understanding the cost/benefit of each feature. Airfocus provides a higher level view of items on mulitple dimensions that allowed the team to create a priority list based on not only customer needs/wants but also delivery timelines. As a result, the product continued to evolve quickly with a combination of more minor features that could be delivered rapidly and also more extensive features for major releases. Ability to attach files. Collaborate with users . priority porker Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about airfocus?

I would love to see more analytics. Licensing is a little pricy for a large team usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is airfocus solving and how is that benefiting you?

Building product roadmaps for higher education. Able to collaborate with management to prioritize items. Publish roadmaps to stakeholders. I am using the tool for a couple of weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about airfocus?

What I like the most is that the prioritization poker is built-in and the criteria are completely flexible so you can tune it to your favorite framework like RICE or do something completely custom. The default settings often work well for me, but the flexibility is king. I can easily change my prioritization approach depending on the team I'm collaborating with and many other factors. The poker results easily translated to a score and the prioritization matrix is completely automated. Boom! Love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about airfocus?

There are some quirks here and there but nothing too bad. There are some sorting issues in the poker, for example, which is annoying but I've been told they will address it in the future. The biggest issue I have is the lack of notifications and mentions comments -- not really possible to collaborate effectively. Again, reach out to them. The improvements are coming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is airfocus solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cross-functional alignment including prioritization and road mapping. The main benefit is the visibility of work and alignment across the teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about airfocus?

Sometimes the UI doesn't easily fit on my laptops screen especially when the list of tasks becomes long.

I don't know what can be done here since I've resorted to reducing font size Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
