What do you like best about Buzz?

The administrative interface is intuitive, making it easy to run various reports, enroll students and check student progress. Our teachers also find the product more straightforward than others to utilize. The gradebook has several custome options that can be turned on and off. Agilix has a wide wariety of canned reports but includes the ability to create custome reports as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buzz?

The dashboard reports are ineffective. The platform shows a pie chart that reflects negative scores for failing grades and student inactivity. The chart would be better if it were one or the other rather than both factored together. Some of the settings are not intuitive and require explanations from technical support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Buzz:

Spend plenty of time familiarizing yourself with the interface and complet training before launching the product for its intended use in your organization. Determine what features are must haves. Agilix is a solid system that is intuitive and can be up and running quickly but does not contain some of the more advanced features of other popular learning management systems on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Buzz solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using the Agilix Learning Management System with content from Florida Virtual School courseware. Our school district opened a virtual school this year to recoup student numbers that the school district lost due to Covid. As a result, the district's enrollment has stayed on par with previous years. We needed a learning management system that was simple enough for our teachers to master in a very short period of time yet powerful enough to give us the data that we needed to monitor student progress. Agilix has been a terrific solution and has allowed the school district to not only keep students on track for graduation it has allowed us to serve students in nearby geographical areas which has braough in additional dollars to the district. What do you like best about Buzz?

The interface is simple to understand from both the parent and student perspective. The administrative interface is also simple to control and learn. We were able to load our student accounts into the system in a brief period of time, schedule students into courses and get them working in little time. Agilix gives some great summary information through the admin app by detailing overall student success in a pie chart as well as color coded information regarding teacher effect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buzz?

While you do have several canned reports that can be ran from the admin account some of the reports are limiting and confusing. I can understand very easily where a student is when pulling an individual students pacing and grades but that becomes very difficult if I need that information across all students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Buzz:

Purchase a 3rd party SIS application like Genius to make the most of reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Buzz solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to provide a completely online virtual school opportunity for our students by using the Agilix LMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
