"Effortless Content Management and Seamless Team Collaboration"

What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

What‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ I love the most about Adobe Experience Manager is the way it leads you through the maze of website content management so neatly. I mean, even if you have a site with hundreds of pages, it still does not intimidate you because the whole thing is laid out in a very clear and logical way. Another nice thing about it is the fact that it respects the autonomy of different units and at the same time facilitate cooperation between them - the designers, editors, and developers can all be on their way without bumping into each other and yet they can collectively make advancements. The drag-and-drop editing feature is great for page updates and if you were to do it a lot, I think it would save you a pretty decent amount of time and you would not have to bug the developer for every little thing.

One more advantage is the digital asset management, which is a great time-saver if you need to use the same images or documents again and again. What is more, the compatibility with other Adobe packages is a good thing, particularly when you are doing the visuals or personalizing the content. Moreover, it also supports the convention of multiples languages which is critical for worldwide sites. In a word, it is like a big website conductor that is still very much in command of the ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌show. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ major disadvantage for me personally is that AEM is slow and heavy at times, particularly when large projects are being loaded. Occasionally, it takes a little longer than it should for even very simple actions to be done. The interface is a strong one, but it is not the most intuitive for a first-time user. Training new team members always consumes more time than you anticipate because there are a lot of features that are hidden behind the menus. Some updates or deployments may require the assistance of developers, thus it slows down when you are in a hurry. Additionally, it occasionally has bugs with components that are not loading properly in the editor. The other problem is that the upgrades can be difficult, and there may be instances where something that had worked before is not working anymore. On the whole, it is a good working tool but it definitely requires patience and the help of a technical support ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

This tool truly distinguishes itself with its straightforward approach to managing and updating content across our website. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes building pages and launching new sections a breeze, even for those without extensive technical expertise. Integrating it into our workflow was seamless, thanks in large part to the helpful guides and onboarding support provided. I rely on it almost every day to publish articles, update features, and keep our content current, and I value how simple and efficient it is to switch between different tasks.

Whenever we've needed assistance, support has been dependable, offering prompt responses and practical solutions that directly address our issues. The product comes packed with features that cover all our content management requirements, from scheduling posts and managing media assets to facilitating collaboration across different teams. Bringing together data and tools is straightforward, and integrating with other software or services rarely causes any delays. All in all, the comprehensive feature set and robust integration options have made this tool essential to our daily operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

Certain tasks may require more time than anticipated, particularly when dealing with advanced features or configuring custom templates. The initial learning curve is quite apparent, so dedicating time to training and familiarizing yourself with all the available options is beneficial. At times, the system can feel somewhat sluggish, especially when many users are active simultaneously or during major updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Scalable, and User-Friendly Content Management for Enterprises"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Adobe Experience Manager delivers an incredibly powerful and flexible content management experience, especially for large enterprises that need consistent, scalable digital experiences. I appreciate the intuitive authoring tools, reusable components, and strong integration across the Adobe ecosystem. AEM also makes managing multi-site and multi-language content far more efficient, and the workflow controls help keep teams aligned and productive. Its ability to handle complex content models while still feeling user-friendly is one of its strongest advantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

While AEM is powerful, it can be overly complex to configure and maintain. The learning curve is steep for new users, and customization often requires specialized technical expertise. Implementations can be time-consuming, and certain features feel heavier than necessary for simple use cases. Licensing and infrastructure costs are also significant, which makes it challenging for smaller teams to adopt. Performance tuning and upgrades sometimes require more support than expected.
