I have been a user of Adobe Spark since its release and I have seen how the app has grown leaps and bounds. My favorite game changer is being able to use Libraries and managed brands to ensure brand consistency. This has allowed me to empower my clients with managing their own brand after we finish our work together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having a slow internet connection makes it a little difficult on loading time on my end, especially when needing to work on the web. I'd love it if there was a desktop app we could download and work offline. That would be amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a very versatile app to make quick graphics for marketing purposes as well as creating ads/menus/cards for businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that the app had more measuring tools for creating printed ads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like the best of Adobe Spark is its easy use and the fact that all the projects are saved in the cloud letting you get acces to them from any device anywhere. All your projects are saved in the cloud giving you access from anywhare. Spark also has many templates you can use and modify as needed, as well as create something from scratch.
Other important thing is that Adobe Spark lets you use a brand in your projects, it is very handy for me because I mostly create video tutorials for my students and using a brand let me apply the same color scheme, fonts and logo in all my videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I do not like about Adobe Spark, is the web page creator because it does not let you upload videos from a file; you have to publish the videos either in Adobe Spark or any other video publisher. It could be awesome if it let you upload mp4 or mov videos as well as use links form YouTube or Vimeo.
Everything else is great and I don't have any other complain with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adobe Spark now has a classroom edition where K-12 teachers can onboard students from their classes straightforwardly through Google. It has been in development for the past couple of months, and Adobe's efforts are coming to fruition! Students and teachers are given access to a variety of tools that can enhance learning and lend an interactive and creative aspect to learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adobe Spark can be a bit clunky, especially when students first attempt to join your classroom space. The platform can be overwhelming due to the variety of tools available so using it must be a deliberate process with time built-in for students to become familiar with it. So, to be honest, I am a designer and I don't really like this kind of tool and reply to more featureful tools like Photoshop or illustrator BUT when you are in hurry or doing free work or a favor someone you can't spend that much time to make custom designs and that's where Adobe Spark comes handy, just choose the template, add some text and images and you are good to go.
Or when you are traveling and don't have a laptop with you and you feel to design some quick posts for your social media sharing then it Spark time.
I usually use it in this manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It lacks a lot of features in comparison to rivals like Canva. To start with it has a very limited library of templates and stickers and animated stickers etc. Template catalogs are the same for months and not updated to new trends so sometimes feel very generic and not captivating enough. I mean it can't match the custom designs you make with Photoshop or Illustrator but still in my opinion it needs some more tools and features to make it a little more powerful for non-designers and social media influencers. Easy to use on desktop, mobile ( Android, and iOS ) and carry the changes seamlessly from one device to another, without losing any previous change and content.
The CC Express ( earlier adobe spark ) is a beautiful handy tool for creating great content for Instagram posts, feeds, Youtube, Facebook posts, and various other size-changing options suited to the needs.
The templates are easy to search ( search by using keywords ), have multiple options, and very great design with the layered approach for easy edit and change. The option to crop, edit text, add custom images, camera images, transparency, fonts, sizing, and animation is simple. The UI is very intuitive and easy to learn. Typically there are no reasons to dislike, yet some features like search history can be a great feature. The image and text alignment in mobile phones can be a bit tricky which is easier on desktop or tablets as the alignment error due to small screen does come up. It's a very easy design tool with so many options. It's kid-friendly and looks very professional! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The design pieces don't move the same way you'd expect in Google or Microsoft tools. It takes some getting used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've used Adobe suite for most of my life. It wasn't until more recently that I realized there's a steep learning curve in explaining to people with no Adobe background how to use InDesign or Photoshop or Illustrator. However, with CC Express (which I guess was formerly Adobe Spark), anyone can create a quality design for social media without spending a lot of time learning how to do it. In some ways it's very similar to Canva, though with an interface that lends to easier understanding of elements available for customization. I'm a big fan of the "layers" in the interface that allows for easier selection of a specific element in your design! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any major complaints about CC Express. I quite like it. I will say I have yet to try the mobile app, so I can only speak for the ease of use for browser/computer based editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adobe creative cloud express is a great suite of software that allows you to control and create the media that you want and need with precision and ease of use. Get it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Constantly having to log into the express cloud can sometimes be annoying, but understandable that they have a cloud-based service that needs authentication. Really nothing to gripe about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spark allows a very easy interface for controlling branding among our various ministries. We really appreciate not only having control over the logo, which is a must, but also having the ability to make sure colors are accurate and font compliancy happens across our communications efforts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's not much to dislike about Spark, but you have to remember that oversight is still crucial. Having an approval process for a team is necessary. We typically utilize oversight functions in places like Hootsuite, so this isn't a problem. A versioning solution would be excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
