"Effectiveness of ActiveBatch"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

There isn't one specific thing that I like best about ActiveBatch, but rather a combination of its features and capabilities that make it stand out. Specifically, I appreciate the platform's ability to execute templated jobs with variable replacement and its Windows-centricity (which makes installation and access control simpler). Additionally, the RESTful and SOAP APIs are powerful tools for advanced users who need to communicate with the platform's various services. Finally, I was impressed with how quickly ActiveBatch responded to my questions & queries during the implementation process, as well as their thoroughness in training us on how to use the platform effectively. What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

There are a few things I dislike about ActiveBatch. Sometimes it doesn't come back after a few runs and hangs itself. I also recently realized that disabling a job doesn't immediately stop it; instead, it runs numerous times before being arrested.ActiveBatch can only provide a trustworthy workaround for previous schedules based on specific times, days, or even months. "Leveraging AB Is Great for Productivity"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

The Jobs Library is the one feature that puts Activebatch ahead of the competition for me. It's easy to get up to speed, even for those with little programming experience. Of course, if you need Powershell for more complex jobs, it's available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

The only downside I see right now is the lack of native bot integration for automation that might require screen scraping or other human interaction processes. I hope they add something soon relating to that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Prefect automation tool for daily task which makes life simple"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

We can automate any task using ActiveBatch like generating reports, scheduling tasks as per requirements, and taking backups without manual intervention which is very useful.

The latest version has more advanced features and increases in libraries which help us to expand our process to evolve further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

I like the previous version of ActiveBatch as it was faster and the latest version GUI is more advanced for which we need to upgrade our PC configurations. But the latest version has more advanced features and increase in libraries . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ActiveBatch has been very useful and flexible. Their support is very good as well."
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

I think their support is top notch. I also think their documentation is fairly easy to find problems/solutions for just about anything you could want. This is based on other vendors that offer similar documentation and support but not necessarily competitors as I have never worked with a competitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

Their latest version just has a few buggy things I don't like but nothing that is breaking anything. Simple things like I have to sometimes click off of the app onto another app and back onto ActiveBatch before it will accept mouse clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automation made easy and efficient"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

Active Batch is easily configured to pick up and transfer all types of files efficiently, whether in house or to outside vendors. The Active Batch alerts that can be set up are very helpful and the detailed content is extremly helpful in determining root cause of any failures. The alerts can be configured to go to various people and or groups through as variety of methods. Furthermore the alerts can be configured to send on various types of failures or if a user / file recipient would like a notification of success those are also easily configured. Active Batch offers many features such as the use of setting up either local plan variables or variables at the global level all of which which lend to its efficency over other solutions. Creating custom schedules is simple and enhances the use of Active Batch which allows customization of file transfer times and days to trigger which range from minutes, hours, days weeks months and more. "Powerful Workload Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

The jobs library is awesome. It provides a great variety of low-code automation steps. Being able to mix and match job steps from different library modules is really powerful. For example, we use the Active Directory, File System and Flow Control job steps together to build a workflow that will create a user, give it access to a network folder and handle if-else flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

Because its very powerful, it takes a little while to learn all of the features. So take advantage of the Academy and Administration Guides to make sure you are getting the most out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
