What do you like best about AccuFund for Nonprofits?

Because it is designed for non-profits, the company understands our reporting requirements. The reporting tools are very versatile. Also, all modules are integrated, saving us a lot of time and month and year end not having to batch post and reconcile the sub-ledgers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AccuFund for Nonprofits?

The reporting is very powerful, and produce almost any report you need, but, some of the reporting is very difficult to understand and learn, and you really need your consultant to help you create the reports. It is worth they time though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering AccuFund for Nonprofits:

Spend the time upfront revisiting your chart of accounts. It is worthwhile to create a 3-D chart of accounts because it will allow you to get very granular when building your reports. If you use fund accounting, take advantage of the built-in Due To Due From feature. It will save time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AccuFund for Nonprofits solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are saving time, and were able to eliminate a position in our finance department through attrition, allowing us to spend those staff dollars on a staff person who can advance our mission. We have also been able to integrate with other software providers, saving us more time and more money, while creating more efficient processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AccuFund for Nonprofits?

Accufund provides complete flexibility and the ability to build out many custom calculations and processes.

Imports save time and data entry errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AccuFund for Nonprofits?

Customization also makes it harder to support.

Writing reports is not intuitive. Some reports and tasks take a significant amount of time to run and tie up other users in the process.

There is no undo. New processes and reports must first be tested in a mirror database before going live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering AccuFund for Nonprofits:

Provide better explanations and documentation within the program for writing reports. Work on display issues like where you can't expand a column to where it displays the data you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AccuFund for Nonprofits solving and how is that benefiting you?

AccuFund has provided a robust suite of tools that allow our organization to perform payroll, inventory, and accounting functions. It is generally easy to use (unless writing reports). Savings can be realized by utilizing imports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AccuFund for Nonprofits?

Easy to retrieve information and viewed in a nice layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AccuFund for Nonprofits?

Would be nice if menus opened when you move over them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AccuFund for Nonprofits solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing funds. Would be nice to customize layouts of reports. More integration would be nice. Like opening accounts would show GL strings and element value rather than having to go to separate places for each part of setting up an account. Annoying that other users can’t keep working while someone else is running a big report or update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
