The character limit has been posing massive challenges--we are a very diverse, multi-cultural university, and we have instructors with long names that cannot be listed in the system without causing EMS to crash. The result is that students register for a class without full knowledge of who will be teaching, and these instructors cannot utilize their experience to get future teaching jobs as our evaluations are connected to Banner/EMS. We have yet to find something we are unable to do within this software. It is very easy to handle reservation through billing right inside of EMS. Our schedulers are able to easily add details, required resources, and charges, our event teams can review needs and ask questions, and post event reports are generated for our management teams.
