There's not much I can think to dislike because they offer: Virtual care for physical and mental health
Same-day primary care appointments
Support from 24/7 Care Team
Better health outcomes through whole-person primary care Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accolade makes healthcare easier to navigate by providing personalized support, cost transparency, and AI-driven insights. Employees get access to dedicated health assistants and nurses who help with finding doctors, understanding benefits, and managing claims. For employers, it helps reduce healthcare costs by guiding employees to in-network providers and avoiding unnecessary expenses. The platform also integrates with health plans, telemedicine, and wellness programs, creating a seamless benefits experience. It’s a great solution for companies looking to improve healthcare access while controlling costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accolade, while offering valuable healthcare navigation services, can sometimes feel overly complex and impersonal due to its reliance on AI-driven interactions before reaching a human representative. Users may experience delays in getting direct answers, and the platform’s integration with employer healthcare plans can lead to inconsistencies in coverage explanations. Additionally, the service's effectiveness heavily depends on the quality of employer-provided data, which can sometimes result in frustration if benefits are not clearly communicated or accurately reflected. Accolade helped me find healthcare providers that were supported by my insurance policy. It was quick and effective in find what I was truly looking for. I used it a hand full of times, but I never really had a hard time using it when I did. I also enjoyed having access to a live person through customer support if I needed it. The only real downside I found was that I couldn't truly find all of the answers I needed when it came to what my insurance covered. There was one occasion in particular that I was told to call my insurance to get a direct answer, because Accolade didn't have access to that information for me. Accolade has helped link me to a ton of other resources like Hinge health, telehealth, etc. I can't imagine what I would do without telehealth because if not for it, I would have needed several very expensive ER visits just to get antibiotic prescriptions. I am so thankful for this resource and for my employer partnering with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a bit difficult to know exactly what resources there are unless you're constantly checking their emails and website updates. I think in general, they're pretty great but in order to get the most benefits, people need to fully understand what the provider can do for the their members and check out their site directly. I like that are live chats available from morning until evening to assist in answering any question I may have about any of the benefits I am enrolled in and COVID-19 questions and screenings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There really isn't too much to dislike on the Accolade App. If I had to pick one thing to change, I like to be able to make adjustments to my answers to the Covid-19 daily screenings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
