I love the flexibility of AA/PA. You can do everything you can imagine. I sell courses, memberships, challenges, more engaging coaching experience, and whatnot. Frankly, I tested almost everything on the market last decade - from WP plugins to a standalone online solution...AA/PA is by far the best solution for my business.
I love the ability to hide and reveal content based on who the customer is. I can't think of a better solution to provide a personalized customer experience.
The solution itself is excellent, but the support team is even greater. I remember a couple of years ago I needed Bulgarian translation as my whole business is local, and I don't sell internationally. If memory serves, it took the team a week or so, and they added the translation in the next upcoming release. Not to mention all the support I receive every time I need something. Very little - only one thing indeed. I'd like to have more control over the checkout forms. As I sell e-products, I don't need the address, postcode, state, and other fields...name and e-mail are enough. Currently, it's not possible to remove those as they are mandatory, proving to decrease the conversion rate.
Maybe, if AA has separate shortcodes for checkout and order bumps, this will allow more flexibility in designing the order pages. Currently, I don't use order bumps because I can't add an image and design text area, so it improves sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AccessAlly is feature-rich and gives the user complete control over almost every aspect of their membership site and course design and functionality. For those who want to build a custom WordPress membership site, this plugin will give you tons of autonomy. Aside from having the freedom to create what I want, my absolute favorite thing is that their support is second to none! I've been with them for years, and their support continues with the same quality and attention. This is RARE within the SaaS world, IMHO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd love to have more control over the payment plan verbiage on the checkout forms. They give us lots of control over the design otherwise. I'd also like an easier way to find leads belonging to affiliates in their affiliate program features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easily it overlays with my wordpress theme. I also appreciate that it has a robust integration with Keap (which I use as my CRM, shopping cart, and email marketing engine). Specifically, I love the ability to hide and reveal content based on what I know about each member, I love the objectives (and automation around the objectives), the affiliate features, and the member directory it allows me to create. It's a really powerful tool, that has become one of the most reliable parts of my tech stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very little - I guess I don't like the video player that comes with their video tracking feature. And I wish I could hide/reveal other types of WordPress modules (other than text or code). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's very robust, it has all the features an online course or membership site creator could ever need, the knowledge base and training is extensive and thorough, the support is next-level, it's super easy to set up and use compared to how powerful it is, and the integrations are robust. It's a great experience for my customers, it saves me a ton of time and money on customer service requests because of that, and I have total peace of mind that I have the right software solution in place in my business for years to come. Highly recommend AccessAlly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I had to come up with an opportunity for AccessAlly to improve, it would be the ability to accept payments via ACH for high-ticket online courses + membership programs, apply payments made outside of AccessAlly to a user's account in AA, as well as the ability to sign + manage contracts/program agreements for high-ticket membership programs (or an integration with something like HelloSign). I have to do those things outside of AA now, however, I realize not everyone needs that functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its features. It does everything we ever want to do. When we want to expand our products or features for customers, AccessAlly already has it covered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like with any platform, there are some limits to the page design options in some areas, for example, Directories. As we are very design-conscious and particular with our requirements, e.g. matching our own designs, this has caused us some issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love the ability to customize to fit our needs, the many amazing features that suit the needs of our online courses and provide a seamless experience for our students and tech team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AccessAlly has everything you need to build and market a membership site for your online courses. This is very important because all the other WordPress plugins require numerous add-ons and integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That is a tough question. I guess the price point is a bit high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though it's very easy to use at it's basic level, AccessAlly also allows for complex membership site setup for anyone who wants to take their membership site to the next level. In addition, they have EXCELLENT customer service! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because a lot of their users use the Divi theme, I'd love to see the capability to use conditional settings on the Divi modules themselves. Currently, you can only use conditional content shortcodes within text modules or text areas within modules -- not on entire Divi modules themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Ability to Do Advanced Tagging and Segmentation of your students and members based on where they are in your membership website. Now you can follow up and segment people specifically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The documentation is confusing and the software is really not designed for beginners alike. There's tons of technical stuff and anyone who would want to launch a membership platform on AccessAlly would need to have deep technical skills in order to get started quickly. Too many options and capabilities can be confusing. The order page and upsell designs are really not yet optimized for conversions because of limited options and design capabilities. Another thing that I loved about AccessAlly is the support of the community. They have an awesome Facebook Group where you can meet other people who are using the software and tool for their online membership websites. Definitely one of the things that allowed me to join their recent AccessAlly Advocate Training Program. It is an extensive 7 weeks program to train people to become experts in configuring AccessAlly. I'm honored to be one of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really liked that many well-established people use the site, and that we could "drip" content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We could only use it in English and Spanish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
