Absorb is a REALLY intuitive system which made the implemenation of it a dream. Within the complexities of our business needs, the system allows you to navigate simple solutions. There aren't complicated and onerous processes to follow and it's really easy to pick up even for non-techy person like me! It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into its design and they are really keen to get the ideas of their customers for anything they haven't though of (which isn't much!) The service we were also provided by our Implementation Manager, Luke Valentine, was second to none. Everyone is helpful and friendly and one of the features I personally love is that there is help at hand 24/7. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost of the system is a significant annual investment for any business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How user-friendly the software is, how easy it is to upload and create eLearning courses, cirriculums, and instructor led courses, and how it's really a one stop shop for everyone in our organisation, regardless of their IT level.
Our support from Absorb (especially Luke) has been exceptional from start to finish. They've been so helpful, friendly and always ready to work with us through any issues we came across. They've been the perfect match for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't come across an aspect of Absorb LMS that I actively dislike. I think some elements have taken me longer to learn / adjust to than others but the Absorb Team (Luke especially) has always been there to help with any confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am really enjoying the system so far, the process of setting it up from an admin point of view was really informative and simple. I love the fact the content creation can be really basic and simple or super in depth, depending on what the course requires. Its nice to see a platform that works well externally to colleagues but also from an admin point of view, it's nice and user friendly. Integration was simple and made easier by great support from Luke Valentine (our implementation support manager), he consistently checks in and ensures we're happy with each step of the learning platform & creation. Our users have started to login to our platform now and feedback has been good, we look forward to continuing to use it regularly and making more courses in the near future. We are yet to find any downsides of the platform, we're happy with every part of our experience so far & look forward to diving into it further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since our first interaction Absorb LMS has been and continues to remain a perfect partner for our learning management system. It's tremendous functionality, integration and ease of use means it is not only easy to share and implement across the business, but to learn and understand the background mechanics are just as simple.
We've had a dedicated implementation team (Adam and Mark) who have trained and supported us through the roll out and they have been experts who are very knowledgable and keen to share all of the great activites this LMS can carry out intuitatively rather than manually, leaving me and my team more time to get on with valued added tasks.
First imnpressions from employees are its great functionality and its strong visual appeal as well as its ease of use - and thats before getting in to the strong analystics and reporting side which highlight how much more appeal this platform is versus its predecessor. So far we have little no no dislikes about Absorb and any time we have had a query or a question regarding the system and its functionality our experts have jumped to the case and either redeucated us to make our taks easier, or we have 121 tuition to work around our current user habits and questions. I have no faults! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Absorb has created a platform that has an incredibly user friendly backend that makes it incredibly straightforward to create courses for our leaners to access the most up to date information. This platform can create simple, accessible courses for learners to access materials or all the way up to utilizing Ai, videos and voiceovers to create engaging courses. With a dedicated Client Success Manager assigned to our company, I am able to get all my copious questions answered quickly and efficiently while learning even more ways the Absorb platform can take our courses to the next level. Our CSM, Olga is incredibly patient, creative and proactive and made it easy for us to integrate from a previous platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features we would like to use have not been developed yet but we are able to put them on a list for future iterations of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The flexibility. There is so much that you can do with this platform - from the reporting and analytics, to the course creation tool, the engagement toolset and the design. It really is a very powerful platform that perfectly meets our needs and never fails to impress.
As someone who has never managed an LMS before, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is user-friendly and intuitive from both an admin and learner perspective. Whenever we give tours of our platform to partners or prospective partners, they are always blown away by the look and feel and the ease at which it can be managed. It is definitely helping us to win business and achieve company goals.
Don't get me wrong - there's a lot going on with this platform and sometimes the answers to issues or questions aren't super obvious, but I find that it's a matter of just understanding how everything is working together to be able to troubleshoot. And thankfully, our client success manager, Greg Law, has been an excellent resource to helping us solve any questions that come up and learn how to effectively manage the platform as we move along. There isn't a lot that I dislike about Absorb. We did not have a great experience with our implementation PM but everyone else that we interacted with was super knowledgeable, responsive and patient with us and our millions of questions while we worked to understand whether it was the right solution for us, and from there, how to manage it.
I will say that there have been some silly limitations to managing the platform. One of the issues we found early on was that the courses provided by Absorb in the Max content library did not automatically have languages designated to them, and in order for them to be searchable by language, you have to manually input this information. This is an issue if you're dealing with over 20,000 courses. We did eventually have the team at Absorb populate those languages for us, but it was tricky and outside of the team's usual work. I hope this is something they can solve in the future since it doesn't seem like something you should have to ask for!
However, there was another issue that we had which had to do with being able to perform mass updates to the course library. For example, we wanted to be able to change the category of a large amount of courses at once. Unfortunately, you were required to make updates to the courses one-by-one. But soon after our implementation was finished, Absorb released an update allowing mass updates on multiple areas within the LMS. So, a pretty good end to an annoying functionality issue! I needed an LMS that would be easy to use and help adoption for a company that had never had one before. I also needed administrative tools that were clear and helpful in order to allow others to help get things done. Absorb met those needs and all of our specifications. The implementation went smoothly and the very few issues we have had have been resolved by the support team fully and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some features that would be helpful that I am hoping get added. Currently, there is not a way to create a report of past due employees and include the manager's email address to make communication easier. The manager name has been added, but no way to do a mail list yet. I would also like to see more mass options for updating courses as well as additional import abilities. For example, the opportunity to import a spreadsheet with mass course updates, such as mapping competencies or adding credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are several things I like about the system. That includes the ablility for me to customize the user interface in a manner that makes sense for the flow and focus of learning within our organization. I also find that the user interface from a learner perspesctive is intuitive and with little instruction a new user can be taking a course within minutes of logging in for the first time. Report look and feel through out are standard but each can be customized to display the information that is relevant to you. They are a standard table of information, but I have found that these are easy to read and understand once you learn what information is captured. There are many different types of reports out of the box so that makes is incredbily useful. Also each person accessing reports can customize and save reports relevant to their needs (e.g. dept). I like that you can create custom roles for various admins so that what they can access is determined by the roles.
I also am thankful for the interaction Absorb has with clients in their community forum. They are constantly reviewing feedback and updating the overall system regularly to keep it current and modern. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few quirks still that i'm not keen about, but with any LMS you learn was to navigate around then. There is an administrative dashboard that is customizable and extremely helpful, but I do wish that it had more options/graphs that could be integrated there for quick glances at reports in a graphical format. I think there are some options of useability that make it a challenge to see grey areas on white, so even though there have been huge improvements to the UI I think there could still be some improvements. Some of the filtering for reports is a bit challenging, but I have seen them working on improving this as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most about Absorb is its flexibility and outstanding customer support. We recently went live with Absorb, and as someone new to learning management systems, I was designated the LMS admin. Our CSM, Ionus, was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and proactive in addressing any issues that came up. Regarding the software itself, I appreciate how customizable it is. Flexibility is important for us, especially for a global organization like ours with very specific needs. The ability to create custom courses, tailor learning content, and configure the LMS to meet our unique requirements has been invaluable in helping us achieve our objectives more efficiently. The support team is also fantastic—they always respond promptly with detailed solutions, including screenshots, screen recordings, and thorough explanations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the customization is amazing, it can be a double-edged sword. There’s a steep learning curve in understanding how everything in the system works together. Although the help articles are detailed and explain the features well, they often don't go beyond basic descriptions, leaving gaps when trying to understand more complex features. Additionally, with so many help articles available, the search functionality on their website can be frustrating—I often struggle to find the specific article I need, which becomes time-consuming and leads me to contact support directly. If I could improve one thing, it would be the search functionality for their help resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clean and easy-to-navigate interface. The implementation process is smooth and supported by a highly responsive customer support team. The platform is highly customizable, allowing organizations to tailor the branding and functionality to suit their needs. This is one of the reasons why we chose to go Absorb. 1 user to 1 department setting - although this keeps things super organized and structured not very ideal for all use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
