I like that Zoho Inventory tracks my inventory and integrates with Zoho Books. Zoho Inventory also makes managing packing and shipping easy, while also providing updates to customers via email as the status changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that there isn't feature-parity between Books and Inventory. There are many features that are free in Inventory but not Books, and features that I pay for in Books but can't use in Inventory, forcing me to pay for both services just to have the same features in both apps. For as tightly coupled as the various Zoho apps are, calling them "completely separate products" is a farce. Customer support is moderately helpful.
I also don't like that Zoho Inventory doesn't track shipment status for manual shipments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about ZOHO is how straightforward it is to set up the account. They provide several resources so I could be self sufficent, but anytime I needed a ZOHO specialists, it was easy to get a hold of someone and hop on a call to go over whatever questions I have. Being able to "automate" my inventory based on sales going out the door has reduced the need for daily physical inventory counts. We now just do a verification count at the end of the month, and so far our counts have been spot. While the platform is specifically designed for inventory management, it does a pretty good job of storing all of my customer information and tracking sales, which allows me to use it as a full ERP system. Lastly, it integrates with several well known platforms, including Quickbooks which has allowed me to reduce the burden on my bookkeepers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside I found with Zoho is the limited amount of warehouses you get with the lower tier subscriptions. This is probably a problem that is somewhat unique to me, but being able to track inventory from multiple warehouses with the extra fee would be nice, but the fee is managable so I wont complain much. Zoho One offers a comprehensive suite of tools that integrate well with each other, which is great for streamlining multiple business functions in one place. The lead management process is frustrating for B2B companies. Zoho’s requirement to map a “Last Name” for all leads, even when only working with companies, leads to inefficient workarounds. As a B2B business, I source company details, not individual contacts, and Zoho's CRM doesn't provide a proper solution for mapping company information efficiently. The support process was also slow, and the workaround offered added more manual work, which defeats the purpose of using a CRM to streamline operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the tracking information - does real-time tracking.
The item automatically registers when you type in the name in the orders.

The tracking information takes too many clicks to get to.
The client portal is not as customizable.
There is no search function, " open orders" filter, and sort function in client portal.
There also needs to be open orders function in the main company portal.
There is also a lag in the tracking and sometimes, the status only updates after you click into the shipment (aka the order from the main order page says "shipped" so I click on the shipment check status or to manually change it to "delivered" but then the status changes to delivered when i click the shipment)
The biggest complaint is that even when these issues are brought up, the developers are not able to get back to me quickly as to whether this is achievable or not. They have never actually been able to

Everything works pretty well; however, the initial integration with WP Engine/Woo Commerce was not as smooth as, and took longer than expected. In addition, there are certain components that aren't mapping over as well as they should. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though Zoho inventory covers all the required aspects of traditonal business model, I needed some customised reports for my business. And the Zoho team was with me every step of the way and provided me with all the custom reports I have asked for even before I upgraded to paid plan. I would highly recommend Zoho to Everyone. More training manuals would be helpful. Eventhough it is very user friendly, a manual might teach you a lot more about the apps and what they can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
