I like that 1ShoppingCart works mostly as an all-in-one type of solution that can manage the shopping cart design and payment processing. Many payment processors often have limited shopping cart offerings and have to be used with a separate shopping cart platform. The order management tools in 1ShoppingCart are very thorough. Working with the HTML custom features isn't the most user friendly environment, especially for users with little to no coding experience. I would like to see more templates and layout structures that can better fit mobile screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think that it's simple to build shopping carts right after signing up and using the website for the first time. It's pretty easy to get the cart to work with several different payment processors. Since the design of the default shopping cart in 1ShoppingCart is somewhat neutral, it often works well to use with just about any website design we have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the options are not as extensive as we need them to be. There aren't that many programming options to get the product options to appear the way that we want them to. In order to eliminate some of the features that appear in the shopping cart, we sometimes have to use CSS, which takes a little bit more knowledge than many of our users have to execute properly. When I first started researching shopping cart solutions several years ago, 1ShoppingCart was a product that I often came across. I like that 1ShoppingCart has been around for many years and is still a stable shopping cart solution used by many reputable companies. Getting set up with 1ShoppingCart wasn't that complicated for even us basic internet users. All of the product management features were mostly simple to use. There are also advanced design features we can use to make the shopping cart design and functions work more specifically to fit our website. It's nice that we can get email notifications whenever we receive new orders. We can stay in top of orders in an automated way and make sure orders get fulfilled promptly. We sometimes have mass items to add and would like to get them to import neatly and properly formatted without having to make too many individual configurations. Though we can add multiple items at once, I found it difficult to be able to set up each item exactly the way with want without having to go into each item to make certain settings. I like the many features that 1ShoppingCart has, which allow users like me to set up their online stores and full checkout experience a certain way. We can't customize every single thing with the standard tools, but there are options to enter HTML and CSS, which is great since we can just copy and paste certain lines of code from our website to help match the look of the header and footer. The checkout process on the purchaser's end is easy for most to use with common steps of entering credit card and address information. There are some cart and product options that are somewhat limited. When trying to add options for packages that include many types of items, it can be a bit cluttered to try and enter the information the way that is standard for product input on 1ShoppingCart. I think that the account management features are probably among the most straightforward in 1ShoppingCart. 1ShoppingCart can do everything that most people would expect when they go to a shopping cart. For instance, providing different options for products and having brief and full descriptions for their products or services. We can connect all of the major types of payment processing methods such as credit cards, debit cards and payment platforms such as Authorize.net, Stripe and PayPal. The general design of the default shopping cart is a little bit older looking compared to many of the newer website builders and online store networks I see out there today. To customize the header and footer is somewhat on the complicated side since we have to add code generated from HTML. I don't think many users will immediately understand how to get that done. I like the balance that 1ShoppingCart has between being a cart that's simple to use and also having many custom options and settings. The options tab has quick ways for us to tailor the look and user experience to our needs. For certain items, we like to have a 1-step checkout to make it easier for the purchaser, and 1ShoppingCart gives us that option along with a 2-step checkout for updating quantities. Some parts of the set up process were confusing. We had to get a separate payment account with another company that connects with our 1ShoppingCart account. The other company also had their own payment buttons, which we actually used for some products because we could get them to work properly with the 1ShoppingCart cart right away. The basic tools in 1ShoppingCart are simple enough for an ordinary person with little to no technical skills to use. The control panel is designed in a way that makes it straightforward to use. 1ShoppingCart does provide extensive instructions and other support materials, but the basic controls are mostly self-explanatory. Signing up with the payment processor and getting everything connected can be confusing. I thought we would just sign up through 1ShoppingCart with our basic contact and banking details and be good to go, but the process was much more extensive than that.
