There is a bit of a learning curve, but it's helpful once you've acclimated. We made sure to check in as we first started using the software to ensure that no errors had been made. its useful to see my room list so I dont have to eamil the hotel back and forth every day with updates. i like that i can name the different blocks, and set up the number of rooms on my own time. im glad i can add multiple users to my account so planners who are working on different conferences can set up their own hotels in the different events under their own usernames Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
The look and feel of the platform is very outdated and not at all intuitive.
Since the company is owned by cvent, they should update to look more like the branding of their other products, Its very clunkly. Sucks that the hotel also has to have to software for it to work. Passkey bridges the gap between registration and our room block. Passkey makes it easy for our attendees to book a room during our registration process. It allows our team to successfully manage a large, complex room block for a handful of our events. The fact that you can give the power to the event attendee and yet have the event planner be able to monitor and make changes to a room block and type is beyond helpful. While Passkey is a great platform that has many features, there is still some room for improvement. Those include adding more integrations within Cvent, simplifying the overall set-up process for a quick launch, more flexibility within the platform to work with other rooming list templates and design a customer experience/user interface that more aligns with each attendee group. It connects directly to the hotel inventory for reservation management in real time and automates hotel room block management making our process more efficient. It is great that guests can connect directly with the hotel of their choice and choose their stay and complete their reservation with a secure checkout process. It is also very useful for running reports in real time and keeping track of hour hotel blocks, making sure that correct people are in the correct blocks. Managing this all manually used to be very time consuming for our staff, so this product has been a great tool for our large events, but less so for our small events where we are only using one hotel / hotel block. The interface is post registration and it would be a lot better as part of the registration process. The software does not work with every hotel so it is not as useful in every situation depending on where are large events are located and which hotels we are using. Set up can be a bit complicated and time consuming. Would also like to see a mobile app so that we can manage things on the fly when we are not in the office. Passkey allows our event attendees to book and manage their own reservation, something our team used to handle internally. Nous accueillons presque 2 000 personnes pour un événement pour lequel environ 2/3 nécessitent des chambres d'hôtel. Nous gérions manuellement les attributions de chambres et le passage des formulaires de carte de crédit via un site sécurisé. Nous avons maintenant commencé à utiliser Passkey, ce qui nous permet de nous connecter directement avec l'hôtel hôte et les invités peuvent choisir leur séjour, ajouter des séjours supplémentaires, saisir leurs informations de carte de crédit de manière plus sécurisée tout en libérant des centaines d'heures de temps de nos employés.
