It works smoothly and is a stable system. Being an IT professional that supports our Library staff and faculty where Millennium is concerned, I have found that the interfaces are easy enough to be used by those that are not as technical as others. The SSL certificates have been the most difficult part of the system. With the move to most all related site being SSL (which is a good thing), the deployment of the certificates have been a bit of a challenge. It is more technical than some Library personnel want to get into. We had to purchase a wildcard certificate to be used. Millenium was intuitive and easy to use. It allowed us to run reports, get statistics and diagnostics and even for a user who, at the time, was unfamiliar with cataloging, still gave us the ability to search and sort through our materials with ease. As a recent, but past, user of Innovative's Millennium ILS, I find that it is what all other ILS offerings want to be. It has quick, easy to understand, and fast moving interfaces for all functions of the standard ILS user, in a super easy to read and utilize interface. My sole complaint concerning Innovative's Millennium Interface is the standard color scheme. The blue green of the interface does not contrast well with the white text box backgrounds and default text coloration, making for some headache-causing visual issues for some users in my library system.
