The best thing I like about visual studio code is that it is one of the best code editors available in the market and have almost every feature that a programmer need and have a variety of themes available and font can also be changed. It has a lot of features, has variety of available extensions which are available for every programming language and it is not limited to that even it has code runner extension too which help you run your code in the software itself, even there is terminal provided where you can see the result of your code.

The software is a type of package in itself to write ,edit, format ,design code and do programming ,even it is very easy to use as a beginner.

Even the software option to connect it with github .

the software even is providing ai to help and assist you while writing the code.

it is very useful to daily programming and its user interface is so good that no one can be bored.

Me gusta Visual Studio como desarrollador de software. Especialmente la sección de Git y Plugins. Proporcionan una sección de Git diferente y muestran los cambios en los archivos. 1. Complejo para cambiar tema, fuente, estilo. Creo que pueden dar una sección en el lado izquierdo o derecho y proporcionar todas las configuraciones importantes allí para que el usuario pueda navegar y cambiar cualquier configuración fácilmente, actualmente es muy complejo.

2. Pueden proporcionar la opción de agregar una cuenta de git desde la sección de git en el lado izquierdo para que el usuario pueda agregar la cuenta fácilmente.

Visual Studio Code es, ante todo, gratuito. Esa es una gran ventaja sobre las alternativas. En su base, es un editor de texto muy simple, pero cuando se aplican los complementos adecuados, puede convertirse en un entorno de desarrollo poderoso. Estoy usando VSCode tanto para el desarrollo de Javascript/Typescript como para el desarrollo de Python. El editor base es simple de usar y entender y muy ligero.

Está basado en Electron, funciona en todos los sistemas operativos principales y admite una versión solo web. Personalmente, estoy usando VSCode en Mac con Apple Silicon y el rendimiento es bastante bueno, dado que todo es Electron debajo. Disfruto especialmente de la extensibilidad e incluso para necesidades muy básicas estoy usando muchos complementos (Git, Docker, JS Debugger, etc.). Una ventaja principal en mi opinión es la velocidad de inicio: desde el clic hasta estar completamente operativo toma 8 segundos en mi máquina, lo que podría parecer mucho tiempo, pero comparado con otros sistemas es mucho más rápido. Habiendo trabajado con otros IDEs, no me entusiasman las combinaciones de teclas predeterminadas y los atajos de las extensiones. También siento que la curva de aprendizaje para VSCode es más pronunciada que con otras herramientas.

Además, y lo más importante, no siento que haya suficiente control por parte de Microsoft sobre las extensiones publicadas en el repositorio de extensiones y ha habido algunos casos anteriores donde se han encontrado extensiones maliciosas. Pero si tienes eso en cuenta y mantienes un flujo cuidadoso, deberías estar bien.

Un inconveniente más importante, en mi opinión, es la necesidad de "construir tu propia suite" donde necesitas elegir manualmente entre cientos de complementos disponibles, lo cual puede ser confuso y llevar mucho tiempo.
