The dataquality suite does a good job of ensuring mailing addresses are USPS verified. The Presort library for actually compiling a bulk mailing would often break when updates were released and it took tech support an average of a week to fix the issues. When new updates come out undocumented changes in the code breaks our implementation leading to days of work getting everything working again. Tech support knows NOTHING about the changes that are made in updates so they are completely worthless to turn to for help.

No input validation in the library so strings that are too long cause the library to crash without any information about why it crashed.

The only drawback I found was there wasn't a PHP SDK available out of the box. I ended up writing one and open-sourcing it, and a number of other people are now using my SDK.
