- The reports mark a discrepancy even when according to pre-agreed terms, there should not be a discrepancy.

There are no positives for this company. They are not based in America (which isn't a problem) but it's extremely frustrating having to call customer service every single day regarding the SAME information I already provided them. I was told I can only provide 1099-MISC forms as an independent contractor instead of a 1099-NEC (which ks the new form to replace the 1099-MISC). I have to explain simple concepts such as Independent Contract work, and what DoorDash and ride sharing services are. Everytime I seem to call them they don't know what you spoke about with the last person. They absolutely refuse to transfer you to a person above their pay grade. To make things absolutely worse you have to provide all of the documents for the background check. Who has to provide all the documents for a background check? I should be compensated for doing their work for them. This is extremely unprofessional and I'm tired of explaining how the United States Government works when it comes to employment. I missed out on another opportunity pending an offer letter based on the background check from this company. Honestly if a company uses this service to run your background check, I'd look at that company a bit differently. There's no way this is happening still. To make things worse I submitted all my documentation at the beginning if my background check because I read the other reviews and I'm still having issues. Don't use this company. Horrible customer support. I had to contact them 10 times to get clarification on what my hr had to do to confirm employment. Maribeth, the rep that I last talked to was horrible. Not much info on why instructions were unclear and why it took them 3 weeks to confirm employment when my hr replied in a day to their initial email. Email was sent from one address but looks like they do not monitor that address and were waiting for the confirmation on another email. It took me more than 10 follow ups to finally find that out.
